The wife and I watched our first football game of the year yesterday. Very exciting. The team with the golden yellow pants beat the team with the pretty red birdies on their hats. (I only watched the last 1/3 because I was replaying Bad Company on the 360. My wife sort of watched the whole game, but she was reading the entire time. Her fellow former cheerleaders would be very disappointed.) Good times.

Men with long hair shouldn't wear helmets, even if they are really good at things requiring a helmet. They look silly.

Actually made it out to see the movie Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans yesterday, it's excellent.

Doing the gym thing once I'm caffeinated and vertical and then just another day of slaving to the computer planned.

I watched the whole game after letting the dvr catch about 40 minutes of it so I could skip the talky parts and the local commercials later. Since it was the only game I watched and I didn't know any of the players it was the golden pants versus the red birds for me too.

I liked when that big linebacker/pass rusher dude in the golden pants had to run from one end zone to the other without taking a break. He was so gassed I thought he'd be done for awhile but evidently the steroids kicked back in because he was beating up red bird guys pretty soon. The other golden pants guys who did the good running, jumping catching stuff were good too, particularly the catching the ball on the helmet thing and the keeping just the toes inside the line thing. The red bird who ran down the middle and almost had the game-winning TD until that golden pants guy kept his toes inside really looked disappointed.

That was Long Hair Larry Fitzgerald. Really good player - really bad helmet hair. I remember his name because they kept showing his father, the sports reporter by (I think) the same name (minus the Long Hair).

I think there should be a rule that says if you want to have long hair trailing out of your helmet like a tease to the guys chasing you, then they should be able to grab you by your hair if they can get their hands on it.

Fair is fair.

There were a string of commercials interrupted by a bunch of guys in tight pants throwing some leather ball around. I found it ironic that they advertised hulu, then, when you watched the superbowl commercials on their site, they added commercials.

Hope everyone has a good Groundhog Day. I believe Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter, which would almost precisely coincide with the vernal equinox/start of spring on March 20. That rodent is a genius -- probably was an astrophysicist in a prior life or something. And how old is he? News report says he started predicting in 1886. Perhaps cloning has been around longer than we thought and there's a secret Government agency just north of Pittsburgh pumping out Punxsutawney Phil clones.

Got to check out how the game went Yesterday, golden pants, red birds. It all sounds very unfamiliar to me.
I'll be catching up on some reviews today (I hope). Got a bunch of stuff on the DVR but that'll have to wait 'till later.

Yes, good game yesterday indeed. My step-daughter drive back from visiting her friend in Pittsburgh before the game - I told her she was a kook for leaving the area - but she did bring us some Terrible Towels - and even though I was rooting for the cards, they will make a nice addition to the Pool House |thumb

I actually feel a bit "hung over" due to my 1st caffeinated beverages in about 10 days. I'm off caffeine during the week (diet ginger ale is awesome) but the weekends are all about the 2 or 3 AMP's :D

The Bitch & I won the 1st 2 quarters on our pool, so she's probably going to take that money to Bingo! while I stay home & make candles.

Rise n shine. Really good game yesterday. I was actually hoping for over time. Today at this point I'm all over the map on what I should focus in on. I need to drink my coffee and hopefully once I am fully wake up I'll know what project I should work on.

Great game and a few good commercials. My favorites was the Doritos one, the bus at the end was great! The new coke one, I don't know about anyone else but that really got me. I was expecting it to be a the same as Mean Joe Greens! |lol|

|attention well good morning fucking monday! And yeah i am still sick, hell we have the coldest 6 weeks since 12 years ago, and oh yeah we dutchies are not used to that stupid freezing temp for a long time.....you wont see anybody on the streets, shops are not full with people, you can easely do shopping now if you are used to those temps we have now and believe me its not hell freezing, we are just not used to freezing sucha long time, i am still sick ......a least half of the dutchies have the flu here and it goes up and down, then you feel some days oke and then your sick as a dog again.......still i am on the net since this morning, i am not happy with it, but after i got an icq message that someone changed my email and log in and more at an other board , (so my accound got hacked, it wasnt me i never change things, the only thing i change is my avatar)...made me upset, all my biss yaers i never got any accound hacked, this is the first time, it feels the same like someone will break into my house while i am asleep...it sucksssssssssss hugeeeeeeeeeee and got me fucked up, so i was monitoring the other board all morning and noticed tons of people are signing in there and viewing users profiles........it makes you think....!
Still on this moment i am changing all my password at all sponsors and all other things and that sucks also, because i should be in bed and being sick!!!!

Good Monday morning everyone. What a game. Id say that the last two have been pretty damned good...from a football fan's perspective. I was rooting for the Steelers and I was glad they pulled it off, but I would've been totally OK had the Cards held on to win. Both team were deserving.

Already crossing things off my "todo" list today..so Im feeling productive. Have a good day.
