I always need dates as early as possible so that I can plan for childcare. I thought a few of you might like to know the dates early as well, so I'm letting you know that they're posted.

It 'says' June 3rd - 5th, I guess they canned the May idea. It doesn't say The Hardrock yet.

I have marked it in the calendar. Is the new hard rock additions going to be completed by then? Going to look at the website.

They are closing down The Joint after this weekend and building a new one. Thats supposed to open up in April.

We stopped by there a couple weeks ago & the right side of the casino (from where the cabs drop you off) was completely different - there was a big nightclub over there & they moved the players club from the coat rack it was in. I wonder what they did with the RHCP light bulb outfits from Woodstock?

I don't care what they do with what; just stop using a fucking air horn to signal the crane, there is something called a radio that will magically transport sound over a great distance that is much more effective and quieter.

And doing a fire drill when I am on a fucking un-air-conditioned elevator for 20 mins is pretty shitty too.

The $100 I gave the staff at the Hard Rock paid off very well.

OMG.. RDawg graduates from HS on the 6th and gets his associates from CSN on the 7th. I guess the party is on me this year!!

Oh, and if everone is going to be staying at the venue (assume the Hard Rock again?), I might actually do something I haven't done in years and that is actually pay for a room in Vegas (at least for the XBiz, I'll put it with a comp elsewhere to stay the whole week)

all you have to do is call the Hard Rock, tell them you are a rated player from XXX casino..and asked to be assigned a rep.. once they find out you've been spending $$ elsewhere, they are happy to try to capture some of those with free rooms etc.

They are doing free, but like they did for the February show - if you attended their previous show, this one will be free registration. So Summer Forum attendees went to State of the Industry last month free, and attendees of that will go to Summer Forum this year free.

I'm hoping to go. I threw my hat into the ring for the seminars the other day.

But I doubt I'll be staying a couple days after like usual, unless some money falls out of the sky.

I was hopping to make it, but the money is so tight that I have doubts. Then again, there is a few months between now and then. :(
