Wordpress Help

I'm looking to see if someone know how to make this possible.

http://sexcravedteenies.com/

I would like to make the menu section appear in the blue bar where the search field is instead of in the column.

Is that possible and how can it be done?

in the admin of wordpress 2.7, go to Appearance --> Editor

Make sure the permissions on those files are set to 666, but change them back once you're done.

Yup you just need to edit the code for the template.

If your server don't support 777 or 666, try using 755 or 644 permissions instead.

That's what I'm up to with my server!

Then there's not many options left besides paying someone to do it for you.

My advice would be to take the time to learn it. At least get the basics down like links and images. Otherwise you are going to be left in the dark when it comes to maintaining your sites.

You don't want to have to pay someone everytime you need to edit your site.

Well, when it comes to modify WP appearance, there isn't too much to learn actually. It took me about 2-3 days to get a grip on it. It's not that you have to be a PHP and CSS guru to make few changes. Google has all the answers, just ask :)

I would add Quack It to the list of good resources site for newbies to learn HTML and CSS.

That's where I had learned most of the stuff I know besides asking my buddy Yahoo! to come up with answers. |loony|

I know basic html, but I don' t wan to risk fucking up my blog by trying different stuff

Bill 2009-02-05 11:01 PM

Well, if you keep copies of your theme files, you can't fuck it up that bad.

Make a nasty mistake, then just copy over the backup file.

Most of it isn't as hard as it sounds.

Its the best way to learn |thumb As long as you don't delete anything in the template thats already there, you should be fine.

Rick Diculous 2009-02-12 11:08 PM
