Warm and sort of rainy here in the tropics of Dirty Undies, NY. I'll take minor flooding over freezing my ass off any day.

Thanks to the advice of spookyx and the motivational prodding of MML, I have my first CLEP exam this Saturday. (Thank you. |smooch|) The coordinator of the B.S. program I've applied to and the admissions guy who will ultimately decide my fate are both pleased with my study plan, so hopefully they'll accept me. I'm going to take a bunch of CLEP tests over the next few months and then go full time to the local community college during the Summer semester(s) to kill off as many lacking prerequisites as possible, before the Fall semester, which is when the B.S. program begins. Yeah, my mushy brain will smell like burning toast by then.

Sore body this morning after playing basketball last night. Gonna do it all again tonight. Rainy here as well. My Senators beat up on Greenguy and Yell's Sabres last night. :)

Looks like it's going to be almost 80º here today so if the humidity gets up there too that'll mean closing the windows and going to a/c. Definitely not like the weather some of my Northern brethren told me they're getting up there. But the weather barely matters as it seems I've decided to fill my time with even more work to get done so I don't plan on being outside or even looking out the windows that much.

Congrats to UW for deciding he'd rather QUIT...errr...I mean do something with his life... besides porn mongering I mean. I'm looking forward to the day when he's certified to begin infectin...errr... I mean teaching young children how to think about things.

Just came back from doing some Birthday gift shopping for my little niece and nephew who have their 1st and 4th Birthday today and next week. Damn, toys cost money.
Other than that I think I'll just shorten my review queue a bit today.

Some work stuff on the agenda for this AM and then I have a home project to complete. Ill be scarce most of the day I think.

A/C went on yesterday afternoon. Another warm and humid one is the forecast for today on this big sandbar.

Got a doctor checkup later today and then school much later today. Somehow I really should get some work done as well.

I see that the local Office Depot has the Epson WorkForce 600 Wireless All-in-One Printer for the same price as Amazon so I might stop by and pickup one up for the people that I do business with who still live in the stone age FAX universe.

well I've decided to try being sociable again lol, I've had my head stuck in the sand plowing thru a few things over the last couple of days.

It's very windy here, and of course it's garbage day so all the recycling stuff is flying down the street. On the plus side, the rain has taken care of most of the snow, for now anyway.

UW - congrats!! I think you'd make a great teacher. You have a way of explaining things that makes it interesting and funny to listen to, and I've learned a lot just from the few times we've spoken :)

Good morning ladies n gents. I'll be scarce today because it seems we have a leak in the basement and i am going to be pulling off trim to see where it's coming from. It doesn't look like it has ever happened before because there are no marks on the carpet or wall but we have had really heavy rain here for the past 24hrs and that, along with the melting snow may have been enough to tip the balance on some unknown issue. Time will tell but now I need to get busy.

I'm up. Another really busy day as I work on projects. Not the ones I'd like to work on, but these ones are a little more time sensitive. So they are the ones getting the attention. Couple more days of this and then mid week next week I'll be off having fun.

My new HD is awesome. Was watching truck racing series practice last night and was loving it. Now I need to save up for a nice sound system for it so I can crank it up and feel like I'm almost at the track. :)

Interesting day so far. Power went out at 5:30, so the "no power" alarm woke me up. It kept going on & off for about 2 hours until it finally decided to stay off. I was tired & frustrated, so I went back to bed. The I had a |loony| doctor appt, got some new meds & now I feel kinda |bananna|

What a surreal evening. There was a midget sitting in front of us drinking a Labatts tallboy & behind us were 2 Canadians that did not know a lot about hockey, but were fascinated with the t-shirt cannon |crazy| Us loosing just fit the evening.

Argh where has the day gone? I feel like I haven't done anything yet...

Well good almost what ever it is, Nothing like being with out power for 9 hours or so :(
