Sponsor replacing my affiliate code with theirs on exit?
 

Should I be pissed at this?

My affiliate link loads the tour page. On exit a 'chat window' pops up, offering the surfer a '100% FREE 3 Day TRIAL to our Premium Membership CLICK HERE'. Only if you click the link the join form opens up with my affiliate code replaced with 'chatsave'.

I know it wasn't there when i first put the links up, and there's no linking option for any consoles at all.

Are popup consoles considered 100% for the sponsor to do whatever with?

I judge it on whether or not they are paying more for consoles. Lots of programs will pay an extra $5 or whatever for putting console links up.

Otherwise, no. And if your links didn't have consoles in the first place, they shouldn't have them now. Did you contact the sponsor?

Yes, personally I would pull those links.

Unless you're doing one of those $30 payouts for $1 dollar trials, then that kind of crap is to be expected.

I'd be pissed right off. The way I thought it worked was if you chose a pop-up option versus a pop-up free option, the pop-up option (which generally pays more) would give you an extra chance at the signup.
If that extra kick at the cat is of no advantage to you, you should be pissed.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the sponsor....

There are no options for consoles. No mention of it anywhere in fact.
