SERP question
 

I have a question. I was getting about 60% search engine hits on my blog and it dropped down to 28% in 24 hours.

Yesterday, I was 2nd in google for one particular keyword and on the second page for a very popular keyword. Those got me a good amount of hits.

Today, my site doesn't even come out in the first 15 pages for both keywords.

WTF happened??

What could have caused that to happen?

Could it be because I changed my site title a couple of days ago?

Whoa cowboy! Of course that is going to majorly affect your SE listings. You likely changed an H1 tag and threw google for a loop.

Google can be fickle anyway, and no one should build a site on SE traffic alone.

My traffic trippled this week just because of SE traffic. Now it went back down to what it was before.

Have you sacrificed anything to Google lately? That could be it. The SE gods are fickle.

What do you mean by sacrifice?

serch engines does it all the time all you need to do is to stable your backlinks get as much as many quality backlinks and create quality content search engines loves fresh content.

my blog is updated 3-4 times a week and I add 2-3 posts at a time. would it be better if I updated once a day with 1 post instead of every 2-3 days, 2-3 posts at a time?
