A Way To Better Understand Your CCBill Stats For Programs With 2+ Sites?
This idea might not be new, but after reading NYJester's posts in this thread something popped into my head.
We've all joined up to a CCBill program that had more than 1 paysite. As you know, all you can see are the total clicks & not clicks for the individual sites. So lets say the program has 4 sites - you could sign up for the program 4 times, get a different CCBill # for each & then you'd know for sure how each site is converting/retaining. Your thoughts? |
Greenie, once I saw that the two programs were under one umbrella so to speak I thought it would be best to keep track of each individual program, for the very reason you stated - all we see is total clicks not the site. To expand more on what you're asking, the only thing I'd hate is those programs with more than 3 or 4 sites - if that were the case I'd suggest maybe signing up for a new 'ID' for each "niche" that the program may have or if its all the same then break it up to blocks of 4 sites. I'd be interested in what others had to say or their experiences already with this type of tracking.

I'm still hoping CCBill stats will upgrade into the 21st century.
|
Even if they added the ability to view by subaccount that would be very helpful
|
Yeah sub-account for each site would be very good add-on as well I agree BB

You silly guys assume that the people that own the program know how to set up sub accounts |lol|
You have no idea how many CCBill programs I've seen that had multiple sites/tours on the same sub account. |
CCBill said ages ago that they were going add affiliate defined campaign codes, but as of yet haven't done so.
Word is that a major upgrade is still in the works, but no mention of a launch date. |
Can't you look at the destination url and see what the url of the join page is so that you know which site was joined?
|
To be honest I cant really find shit within the CCBill admin area |pokefun| |jester|
I just check clicks and conversions |cry

it is quite disappointing that ccbill doesn't break down clicks per sub-account.
Lets all hope for a upgrade |bow
CCBill sucks for a lot of things beyond a breakdown to sub accounts.
Simply attempting to pull off a long term stats report is impossible beyond a certain point. If you happen to lose your past records but need to refer back to them, you can never get them again and I think this is an awful flaw. Even basic sponsor programs allow you to go back to your initial sign up date, so why can't you do that with CCBill? I would welcome any updates they put in place that make life easier for affiliates but I don't hold my breath on ever seeing them. |
I was asking about some additinal tracking last summer and ccBill-Paul said the best way was to setup multiple accounts(not the best way in my opinion).|banghead|
http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ghlight=banner A lot of ccBill sponsors that I would push harder if there was better tracking available.|whisper

I'm sure this was talked about some time in the past, but how about the ability to purge those CCBill sponsors which you no longer promote. What a pain in the ass to look at this huge list with no longer promoted sponsors who will show up with that one "heart beat" click
|
hmm anyone know if this will be included in the "coming" ccbill stats upgrade?
