Hosting recommendations?

Well...got the strongbox security system working great...after some brute force attacks.....and have done everything I need to for the new affiliate program......and now....my remote server is down and has been for 9 hours!!! Supposedly it is going back up anytime. My question is this....anyone out there have recommendations for a good, reliable hosting company that offers tech support and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've been burned a few times with hosting companies going belly-up, etc., or not answering phones, etc. The one I currently have has been good until what seems to be the "administrator's" fault....whatever the heck that means.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really really tearing my hair out with all of these ISSUES!!!

Thanks~
Linda

I have used NakedHosting for going on 2 years now and while they are not as inexpensive as some I have had 0 downtime, 24 hour customer service toll free (and I have used it and it works, even at 3 am on a weekend) and they are just awesome to work with. I know I could get my hosting cheaper but the time I have saved in headache and hassle has made it completely worth the extra to me.......

M3 Server hosts all of my stuff and I've been with them for many years and I'm very happy with them. :)

I actually have two dedicated boxes with them.

Anyway just choose M3 Server from the drop down menu in my sig.

I do a little work every now and again for WebGem and
they seem to be pretty decent guys.
If it turns out that they don't work out well for you for some reason,
I've been very impressed with Phatservers:

Also Mike at Xcite.net has very reliable, high performance servers.

My 2 cents may not be worth much.
But I've been with CyberWurx for a long time Now and
have only been down for 12min. for maintenace in tha past years.

I personally recommend Chris at CyberWurx
