Traffic Lose not having Visa?

My adult membership site has been online for about a year. When I set up the billing with CCBill there was an extra charge for Visa, something like $500. That was not in the budget then and would be hard to do now. I know I lose conversions because of not having the Visa option, but does anyone have data on how much conversion you actually lose. Are there any other options to getting Visa service, other than through CCBill?

I think its something around 70%

I believe the fee is $750, but its really the best investment you could make on your site right now. I don't understand how you've been operating for a year without it!

This isn't a current number, but, about 3 years ago, visa comprised about 65% of the sales to a number of sponsors that I worked with. If you don't have an affiliate program (I couldn't find one when briefly surfing your site), you might consider Verotel's Ticketsclub. For low volumes, there are no setup fees for Visa acceptance.

Many webmasters that promote other sites prefer ccbill, some will absolutely not send traffic to a site that uses Verotel. If you're going to move to a revshare model and have webmasters promote, I think you would be best served staying with CCBill.

As a surfer, I have as Visa for my personal stuff & I doubt I'd activate the MC I have if the site did not accept Visa.

It's a cost of doing business - you need to budget it in.

I'm not certified by Visa and I'm fucking rollin' in it.

If you would have set aside roughly $60 a month for the year you went without, you wouldnt need to ask this question. In my opinion the $750 has to be factored in if you're going to run an adult site catered to by CCBill.

Why do some CCBill webmasters not want to deal with Verotel based sites? I'm using Verotel for creditcard payment and never had any issues.
