First Pagerank for my domains - is 1 and 2 okay?

A Lot of my sites got pagerank for the first time since I started two months ago, and most has gotten pagerank 2 is that okay for starters?

Kind regards

It depends on what's important to you. PR is about the trust worthiness of the site. Many people trade links off that PR. Many others only care about your search engine placements.
You could have a PR4 with 10 daily search engine hits or a PR2 with 2000 daily search engine hits. I'd prefer the latter.

It's probably just fine.

It depends a bit on what the source of the pr is - since there's no way for us to guess, we can't have an opinion.

It's not really about "trustworthiness" HW.

It's a calculation based on what pages have linked to you.

It's accurate to call it a measure of how important your page is compared to all other pages in the google database.

But "trustworthy" is a different kind of concept.

Except to the extent that pages are less likely to link to you iof they don't trust you, I suppose.

For a few month old site, PR2 is fine, enjoy it. I know I still do when my little green dick gets a little longer

First thing I learned when I came back to Adult and joined this board. "Trade traffic not PR.." that tidbit was shared by Greenie himself.

Congrats to you Sodo.

One of my LL's just went down from 3 to 2 for a second time. I'm getting used to it.

And what Jester said.|thumb

PR 2 is GREAT for a site you just started. Most websites take time to build links and so on. If you had to many links pointing to your site after it was only two months old Google would more than likely consider that SPAM and penalize you for that or take you off of Google.

PR is more about Ego than anything. Try and get your SE rankings and keep building content and links in is all you can do. My blog is a PR 4 and the highest it has been has been a PR 5, but PR doesnt make you anymoney your traffic does.

Google and other search engines are going more towards more flexable rankings and PR will matter even less than it does now.
