PreChecked Cross Sales on CCBill Sites
 

Has anybody noticed some sponsors have prechecked Cross Sales on their CCBill join pages? These prechecked cross sales charge the Customer $40 after a 7 day trial and the referer gets 0 credit for these cross sales.

http://phil-flash.com/join.php Click Join with Credit Card and at bottom of the CC Bill Join page it has a PreChecked button to subscribe them to a auto-rebill trial that the referral does not get paid for. Which in CC Bill accounts referrals get paid by percentage not PPS. I know of a few that are doing this already and know of pay site operators that have been contacted.

Sure enough. Pre-checked cross sale on a revshare program. :(

This isn't all CC Bill programs they have to choose to do this. Its with a company other than CC Bill

Might be a good idea to put together a list of paysites who are doing this with CCBill.
I'd pull any company that's doing it.

Wow, too bad, Phil Flash has some nice sites too. Ive seen CCBill cross sales unchecked before but never prechecked. The only plus to is it's above the button and can be seen.

We need a list.

And then all who agree this is a bad thing need to cooperate and shut down all traffic flowing to any sponsor still stupid/crooked enough to be doing pre-checked cross sales (especially on revshare programs!).

The sad truth in my opinion is that any sponsor willing to fuck the surfers today will be only too glad to fuck the affiliate tomorrow.

Fuck them... or as we sing about in OTB: "Fuck you back!"

I have to agree that pre-checked cross sales is really bad and is hurting this industry more than anything - we would all like to be able to make money again when the financial crisis is over...so yes a list would be worth a lot!

I hate shit like this...If there are others, post them here or PM, and I will start a list we can share.

When a sponsor is willing to go that far to bone the customer, I guess it should be no surprise that we are next in line. I can "almost" see where PPS could allow for some of these games as there is no obvious way a program is paying 40$ on sales that hardly rebill anymore. But to give the affiliates the finger on revshare warrants complete removal.

I went thru my rather extensive list of CCBill sponsors and did not find any others with pre-checked cross sales.

There were a few with un-checked cross sales, which I'm still not wild about since the affiliate isn't getting a share of that sale, but at least they're not fooling anyone into taking them up in the offer.

Phil Flash and I Heart Bucks are the only ones I know of doing it right now.
