http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30627900/
A statement posted on lynyrdskynyrd.com said, “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of longtime Lynyrd Skynyrd bassist Ean Evans. Ean put up a valiant battle with an aggressive form of cancer and he will be sorely missed by family, friends and fans.” _______________ If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on, now, cause theres too many places Ive got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldnt be the same. cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Bye, bye, its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I cant change. But please dont take it badly, cause lord knows Im to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things just couldnt be the same. Cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird youll never change. And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Lord help me, I cant change. |

Nate <--- Holds up lighter.
Call me white trash, but skynyrd is one of the few groups that mattered in the 20th century and easily my favorite southern rock group. |
Another good one gone RIP in guitar heaven.
|
Who?
Call me "old school" but when I think of Skynyrd I think of Leon Wilkeson on Bass. But RIP to who ever that dude was. |
