I am off to the documentary film festival today in Toronto. Then I fly a friend to the airport. Finally I am home for dinner that I am about to start in the crockpot -- beef stew. Sadly, my mom died many years ago but I have many good memories of her.

Bought flowers for my mom for the first time in 30 years. I guess appreciation comes with age.
It's going to be a quiet Sunday today. I might do some movie editing and thumb cropping but other than that it will be a day of resting and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Was up late last night at a full moon drumming that was held by a Nigerian master drummer named Dele Adefemi. I learned how to play a musical instrument made out of a gourd and beads called a Shakere.

Getting ready to go to the beach.

Other than risking sunburn, man-of-war stings, and getting busted for smoking weed on the beach not much else planed for today.

Already spoke to my mom and took the wife to the movies yesterday so I am done. Now for some work, TV and when the overcast burns off maybe a drive and thats about it.

Morning.. and happy Mother's day to all those who nurture on a daily basis. My RDawg made me breakfast with the Magic Bullet & the Xpress 101.
Bought our new grill yesterday now if only i can motivate the "boys" to put it together, we might have "steaks on the barbee" 2 night for dinner.

otherwise it's payroll prep for moi today, maybe a round of bingo later at Red Rock.

For some reason I own 2 of those.. for a semi-white chick who only use of rhythm was birth control and we all know how well THAT worked, I can actually play those.

Happy Mothers Day ladies. I just finished dinner I cooked a prime rib for the lady that gave me life and now Im headed out for a drive since Im seeing sun for the first time in 5 days.

Thank God my Mom was here tonight and is now gone. The stress dies down... I did BBQ one hell of a roast beef tonight though, low and slow!!! The only way to go!!!

Nice to know it was Mother's Day in many countries. I spent a great day with the family and also explaining the excellent features of her brand new cell phone to my mom. ;)
