Fetish Wealth's W-9
 

Has anyone been able to successfully submit Fetish Wealth's handy W-9 online form? I get this error:
I've emailed them twice about it, once being this morning, but I have no reason to believe that I'll get a reply to this morning's email any faster than the one I sent a few weeks back.

It seems like a nifty tool - much faster than mailing a printed version, but only if it works. :(

I wish that all sponsors would do this, presuming it works of course.|loony|

Worked fine for me.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago with a different sponsor. Perhaps it's browser related. I haven't tried using IE. I'll see if that works and let you know.

Yeah, it seems like a very cool idea, especially since I'm pretty lazy about mailing in W-9s.

Hopefully they'll get it fixed or tell me to fuck myself, or something positive like that.

I mentioned the problem to someone there last night ... he'll be having it looked at today, and hopefully fixed. Not sure why you didn't hear back from someone but I'm sure he'll be asking about that too.

You realize, of course, that I blame you for all of this. :D

I tried with Firefox and got the error UWarrior saw.

Then I successfully completed the form using Safari and got the confirmation Cleo saw.

Just FYI for those who have Safari and don't want to wait.

I just tried it with Safari and FAILED miserably. The internet hates me. |cry|

Guess they could buy Macs for everyone that they need a W-9 from.

Funny you mention this. I had the same problem on another sponsor.

I just printed it out and faxed it.

Too much work for a guy like me. I'd rather pull my links and let them keep the $296 they're currently holding in their coffers than figure out where my wife hides the stamps and envelopes. I'm a rock star -- I have no time for sponsors who won't even acknowledge me or my attempts to communicate with them.

I keep a PDF of my W-9 on my hard drive that I usually email to whoever needs it.

It was a shock to me too, and that's why it's going to break my heart to deactivate their hosted links this morning. They've been emailed twice, I created this thread, and posted my issue in FetishWealth's thread on GFY on the 15th (Plus, Simon has informed them of the issue.) Not a word back and the form still doesn't work. I am a boy of little patience -- therefore they will lose the WHOPPING 40 hits a day they were receiving from me.

Rock stars are not to be ignored.

Fetish Wealth fixed the W-9 form this evening and it worked smoothly for me. Thank you FW (and Simon). |thumb

Next question: when the hell do they payout? If an act of god is required for payment, can I borrow one from someone? |banghead|

I know that their support email addy must work because I just received their newsletter about new smothering hosted galleries. Of course, I did chucle when I read this:
Never, ever have I received a response back from them when an issue has been sent to that email.

I believe i received an email from you friday night but just getting back to you monday morning. Please note that we keep regular business hours/days so I reply to all emails/icqs on mon-fri 9-5 and other times when online.

I didn't expect an email reply from you during the weekend. My comment about not getting my emails replied to extends back to my multiple attempts seeking assistance when the NATS W-9 form wouldn't work for me. Someone eventually responded (after it was fixed) via ICQ, but never to my emails. And the email about non-payment I sent on Friday evening was not the first.

I ICQ'd you this morning, but you weren't on while I was on. I'm rarely ever on ICQ anymore because I'm not really involved in this business anymore.

Thank you for doing whatever it is that you had to do in order for your company to be willing to pay me.
