What's a vid cap?
 

I assume a vid cap is a screen shot taken of a video? I'm a little confused as to how to tell the difference. I'm hoping someone can take a look at this picture and tell me if it's a vid cap.

If you cant tell then it should be fine. I dont think anyone will mind as long as it dont look all crappy.

That doesn't look like a vid cap to me. When it's obvious you can see blurs where there is movement.

Personally I use my iPhone to shoot all content.

There was a time when vid caps looked like crap but now with HD video cameras you can do really high quality stills from the movies so as long as it doesn't look like a vid cap you should be fine.

Since lots of video is HD these days, I think the days of outright banning of "vidcaps" is made moot. When video was 640x480 and crappy, there was a reason to ban it, but you'd have to be pretty sharp to spot a well capped pic from an HD video.

Now on the flip side, I think if a video cap looks as good as still image then it really frees up the model to just do what she wants, and that will make better pron than some guy saying "OK baby, spread it open while I get the picture".

Yes. Video cap. But it looks as good as a digital pic so it really shouldnt matter.

Most webmasters when they say "No Vid Caps" they are referring to the little 320x240 sized pics that are stills of the actual vid clip. But as Cleo mentioned the newer high def cameras really shoot quality stuff so they have changed. I fthe image is clear and a good size you should be OK
