Hello All,

Pretty Much Looking For Some Basic Feedback As I'm Just Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things. This Is Still A Work In Progress As You May Notice If You Click On One Of The Previous Galleries Towards The Bottom And Notice Some Revisions.

I Think It Should Be Compatible With IE & Firefox Now. Anyways Any Feedback Is Greatly Appreciated.

I'd say the biggest thing that hits me right off the bat is the quality of the thumbs. Many are blurry. I'd rework the thumb quality maybe increase the size...with bigger monitors now a days bigger thumbs that are clearer and crisper.

You're missing a 2257 notice at the bottom of the page.

Go with a wider layout. With wide availability of inexpensive and better quality monitors, very few people are still using 800x600 resolutions.

What's with statcounter.com/myspace/ and statcounter.com/wordpress.com/ ? Couldn't you find a decent web host with stats? Alternatively, you may want to consider using Google tracking.

And the sponsors you have may be a problem.

I agree with NJ Yester about the blurry thmbs from page 2 on. They kinda suck.

2257 notice? I stopped doing them when I realized it was a violation of my constitutional rights. Dont take that to mean you shouldnt use one, just take it to mean I dont.

The sponsors, I dont know about. I didnt really look a who they were.

Here's the best advice I can give you. Nobody like GG is going to link to that front page so you can do whatrvrt you want with it, and the very next thing you need to do is put in some javascript to obscure the URLs in the status bar. Make it show nothing or make it show something like http://mysite.com/galleries/free/31/index.html

I have a simiilar-looking site, but its a different animal because all the galleries are local and brimming to the gills with keywords. It's under 2 million on alexa with just search engine traffic, including adult search engines and traffic from my other sites. That might be a better idea than just linking to sponsor FHGs. Personally Not A Big Fan Of Obscured URLs Or Sites That I Can't See Where The Link Is Going To Take Me. I'm Allset With Reformatting My Hard Drive Any Time Soon.

Those particular sponsors are heavily promoted. As an upstart website, you'll probably have better success showing surfers content that they haven't already seen dozens of times before.

I would say that your biggest priority would be the thumbs. Not only are some of thumb blurry/fuzzy but you also have some aspect ratio problems causing some of them to appear skewed. Also related your thumbs are hard for me to see in general (they are tiny), my monitor resolution is fairly huge. But this is something for you to consider as well since monitors are getting bigger and not smaller. Im not sure what sort of budget you would put towards such a thing but i have had great results with Arles image web page creator to make thumbs http://www.digitaldutch.com/arles/
