OK...I have no plans to be the next AFF, but I think I have an under-exploited niche market for an eDating site.

Now, I have no experience with any dating software and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, advice, experience with eDating software or smart ass comments to help inform me.

I think the only reciprocation might be monetary. Of course...the Japanese are developing some interesting software...

Another possibility is Dolphin from boonex.com. If you run red5, you can run video conferenced chats between members. However, the code is a little buggy and has had security issues crop up from time to time. If you don't mind tinkering, it is probably one of the more popular social networking codebases and has a number of addons. Out of the box, it is not a bad solution. Just keep up with their site with their security releases, don't customize it too much (use their addon/plugin api) and you should be ok.
