Happy Vacation Over Sunday
 

Good Morning.

Got home from 6 days away with my daughter's dance studio. Had a great time overall, the girls did great, I got to golf a bit and fun was had all around.

I have sooooo much work to catch up on so I'll be working all day. Looks like it'll be a busy week.

I like so need to do one of these vacation things.

Another hot, sticky and wet one here. Actually I'm not sure if it will rain today, it probably will as it almost always does in summer afternoons, but it's so hot and muggy out that you get soaked with sweat within a few minutes of leaving the comfort of the air conditioned indoors.

This Grace Jones video is so bizarre. When I found out she had a new album out I decided to buy it. Tried iTunes, Amazon and a bunch of other places but all the places I tried only offered to sell me a CD or a LP. I didn't even know that LPs were still made and why would I want a CD. Finally after doing a ton of Google searches I found a place in Europe that sold her music as MP3s but wouldn't sell to someone in America. Finally out of frustration I did a Torrent download of her album but I really wouldn't have preferred to have just bought her music.

Just a day of making the porn planned with a chance of indoor racquetball late this afternoon.

My in laws are coming over this afternoon, so I have to get my work done before that.
Otherwise extremely hot weather continues. 113 degrees yesterday.

Good morning. I'm going to do some more unpacking. It seems that it never ends but Tatiana's room is done, our room is almost done and living room and kitchen are very close.

Then I'm having dinner with Fat Ray and his family.

So, anyway, that's what today's like.

What a great day yesterday turned out to be! My niece, her husband and three kids moved back to Florida on Thursday. It just so happens that the house two down from ours is for rent and they are going to move in |bananna|

Good Morning All :)

Three movies were on last night that I wanted to see. Due to the east/west feeds, I was able to pick two. The two I watched are on again this evening, the one I had left is only on a west feed tonight because they are showing a movie that they have shown dozens of times this month. They did something similar a few weeks ago where I wanted to watch two movies one evening and the east and west feeds were only offset by one hour.

Anyhow... day of python coding ahead for today. It is quickly displacing perl as my language of choice.

Going to do a little work before heading off to the Angels baseball game.

Watched Pineapple Express last night which was good for a few chuckles. Also fixed my mom's computer problems which made her happy. :)

Today is work in the morning, clean up the house early afternoon and then have my buddy and his family over around dinner time. |waves|

We got into Canada about 2 hours sooner than we expected so we have a few minutes to wait for our room. Nothing much else to add but Simon is making me miss the Keys more and more... I could really use a Key West break right now.

DVR's are a wonderful thing
So is having satelite, comcast cable, AND U-verse all with their own DVRs
So basically I can record 6 things at once while watching another :)

We should all show up at Simon's place and drop some acid.

Good Monday morning from here... I hate Monday mornings :(

But am still smiling :)

I'd like to think I don't really watch that much TV. One day when HD TVs innovation slows down a little I'll probably get one. Still have an old 4:3 in the living room that I watch. Once I upgrade that, I'll get a DVR.

I've spent most of the day outside and had no idea of the time until i sat down a few moments ago. So much for most of the plans I had for today!!

On a brighter note, it was good to see Greenie and his good wife again and the concert was excellent.
