Sex toy manufacturer in China?
 

A client has asked me to shepherd a pet project to get a set of sex toys (new type of butt plugs) manufactured for resale. Learned all sorts of stuff about CAD designs, mold fabrication, types of plastic, etc. and it looks like these toys could be made via injection molding. All fingers point to China as the source for manufacture; and there are craploads of plastics factories over there.

Can anyone offer any direct pointers to reputable injection molding manufacturers in China, or even anecdotal info on getting adult toys made overseas? We would need a factory comfortable in prototyping and short production runs from 100-1,000 pieces. We need to reverse engineer our existing prototypes to plot modifications into CAD form, get initial molds and samples made, and set an initial production run.

Anyone treaded this sort of water before and have any advice they might be willing to offer?

Thanks, already did that. Most of the sex toy factories produce their own lines of toys and do not accept custom or prototype orders.
