NATS4 - No Historical Data?????

This post is probably a waste of time, but I need to vent.

I'm doing my revshare stats & noticed that each program that has "updated" to NATS4 has no data prior to the upgrade |angry|

How hard can it be to import the old stats into the new admin? I thought NATS was supposed to be the top shit when it comes to affiliate admins. How the fuck are we supposed to see how we're doing overall if all the data is wiped out when the program "upgrades"

If all this data is gone, how are we to trust that past rebills are being counted? I don't know about you, but it's hard to count numbers that are not there.

That and the lack of the ability to export the stats really has me pissed off |angry|

At least I have bar graphs & pie charts now - I guess we can thank the NATS Gods for that completely useless information.

|banghead|

I share your frustration on this and many other facets of NATS4. It's hardly an "upgrade".

Ive noticed this also. Cant the program owners at least leave up the original backend for a limited time period so we can make sure rebills are being carried over. For the price of nats it should be able to carry over previous stats, but since every paysite backend is different its probally to much work for the nats team :(. I can understand the use of nats for program owners, its a hell of a lot easier to keep track of affiliates, chargebacks and fraud.

From what I've been told |whisper| NATS is just upgrading some of these programs without even letting them know.

And not to throw Jay under the bus |bus| but you know ity's bad when the program is complaining in public about the many problems.

But at least we have pie charts & bar graphs |thumb

I noticed Naughty America leaves up the old stats after swichovers from other systems. So does Kinky dollars. I think part of it is that they care very much about their affiliates and are two of the best programs around for affiliates.

I would be extremely surprised if that has happened. As a program owner you have to provide TMM with certain information as the upgrade is quite an involved process. It doesn't just drop in.

The issue of not saving of historical data is a surprise. I would hope it would be something TMM would handle without charging an additional fee to do it.

There was a nasty thing at the zoo last year about hackers getting a hold of the TMM maintenance user/pass. It sounded like TMM had a remote admin function for their software.|crazy|

Yeah, I need that historical tracking to make business decisions. Without it I'll probably end up dropping the sponsor(s).|cry|
