Bills vs Patroits = Greenguy Fucking Off For The Weekend

That's right - Bills season operner is at home against the Patroits - I have no idea why it's not going to be nationally televised, as this is already being touted as "The Game" of the year for both clubs.

I've got a few people coming into town for the game - Amp, DrBizzaro & Adult Legal Jim (who is stupid enough to come & watch his Pats loose to my Bills - LOL)

So I'll be scarce til Monday - or maybe even Tuesday - LOL

just kidding Jim :D

Have a great weekend everyone

Greenguy, don't forget the "C&B" cam, in case Jim is so inclined :-)

Have a good time, should be a great season opener!

Alex

Leaving right now... 5 hours and counting.....

Think they'll let me on the plane with full body paint and 2 huge foam fingers? We'll see....

Needless to say, I will not be around much either this weekend.

Jim 2003-09-06 11:20 AM

I am guessing that it is not going to be televised because 8 and 8 season last year :)

Greenguy 2003-09-06 11:54 AM

Everyone remember this thread about 8-10 weeks into the season when Jim jumps back on the Bills Bandwagon :D

Ramster 2003-09-06 12:02 PM

I've been a Pats fan for a while but not actually living in the city and them trading Bledsoe has steered me to the unknown. I guess I'll watch the game and see who my gut tells me to cheer for.

Gotta love football. This is gonna be a great weekend.

Jim 2003-09-06 01:46 PM

I am still on the Bills bandwagon. I was just giving an opinion as to why the game is not nationally televised.

The Patriots are my team and today was the first day I heard they cut Lawyer Malloy and he went to Buffalo. He was The Patriots Defensive Captain and helped them win 4-0 during pre-season and that really influenced their game play today because I'm sure Lawyer went and told Buffalo all of New England's defensive plays. Wow was that a major upset.

I will miss you Lawyer Malloy!! |waves| |smooch|

RawAlex 2003-09-07 05:39 PM

I have this odd impression we might not hear from the green one for a little while, I suspect there is a little party going on in Buffalo right now.

:-)

Yes Alex, Buffalo kicked some ass today so I'm sure Greenguy is having a little fun.

Why the hell they released Malloy is beyond me. And he played well today for the Bills...but of course he plays well all the time. Dumbasses.

I've been reading articles about it all day. It was about their money cap they were trying to keep down. They wanted Malloy to take a pay cut of $1.4 million and he refused. I'm not really sure who's side I'm on because I think athletes are extremely overpaid anyway.......but he's one of the better players on the defense, so for him to take a paycut and someone like Teddy Bruschi not to take one is retarded.

They should have just cut someone else who was worthless to the team. Lawyer Malloy is worth it and he proved that today. The Bills got a hell of an addition to their team.

Ramster 2003-09-08 08:34 AM

Yes I agree. Cut someone else. I think they tried to justify asking him to take a paycut because he didn't have a great year as far as numbers go. But like Malloy said it was due to the way the defense was called last year. It didn't allow him to blitz as often and many times had him sitting back in protection.

Greenguy 2003-09-08 07:39 PM

The Pats loss is our gain :)

I am of course still a tad bit hung over - LOL - but I do know that I never in a million years expected the Bills defense to look that GOOD! Spikes, Adams & Milloy are 3 fantastic additions & they looked just spectacular.

AdultLegal-Jim was crying in his beer until he passed out :D

Being a Bostonian and Pats fan I can honestly say I enjoyed seeing the Pats get their asses kicked yesterday. They toally deserved it for what they did to Malloy.

Not one person I've talked to understands it and the papers are ripping the head coach (I refuse to speak his name) to shreads.
Here's a team that spent big money to get players and a new stadium and they cut their defensive captain a week before the season starts to save a few bucks, wtf? You want to cut him, fine, but do it after the season or before the pre-season.

I was waiting for Malloy to flip the bird to the head putz after his sack.

OK, I could go on and on but I'm getting myself all riled up again, off to see the Bucs/Eagles

I'm still crying in my beer!!!!!!!!

I should've drank like my friend Sean, I don't think he remembers much of the game.

Thanks for everything greenie, despite the very loopsided score I had a great time

Gator 2003-09-10 04:02 PM

The Bills look good this year. I still can't believe Milloy is on their side now. It looks like Ty Law won't be a Patriot after this year.
