4 Recip Links Too Many?
 

I'm taking a gallery from some of my old free sites and making tgp's and have four recip links, is that too many? I've surfed a few tgp's and most seem to have three.

three seems to be the "magic" number... some sites only all 6 outbound links on your gallery

Most TGP scripts check the total external links, which includes recips. Some have that limit as low as 6, so 3 links to the sponsor and 3 recips is your 6. Most aren't quite as strict, and allow 8 to 10, so using 4 recips isn't a problem unless you have more than 3 links to the sponsor or too many recips with more than one link in them. You also want to be sure that linked text over a linked banner is coded to be just one link and not two.

The guys that have their links set at 6 can be quite problematic , 3 recips + 3 affiliate links + 2257 link puts you at 7 and your submit doesn't go through and then you have some TGPs that have more than 2 links in their recip , compounding your problem.

I use 4 links regularly with no problems.

Persian Kitty doesn't seem to mind 5 recips and 3 ads.

I know I have done galleries with 3 and 4 recips but usually stick to 3. A quick "drive-by" there submission page might clear up the question as to what most like.

I really don't see why any smart person with a TGP wouldn't want 5 recips?

Other than being slaves to their blind link trading scripts.
