TGP2 Still Alive?

and if so, would you consider this an acceptable TGP2 site?

If it is, let me know and I'll submit it to you.

Thats more like the TGP3 format that Sheepy talked about. TGP2 has less than a minute of videos per gallery and each one usually opens on a new HTML page

SheepGuy 2009-08-31 06:56 PM

Yeah that is more TGP3. I'll accept it and list it on CuntMaster's and Sleazepleaze as long as I'm not the only one who will accept and list sites like it.
That site looks like a selling machine and I like it. If we all want to break out of the "where did all the sales go" depression IMO, we should all be building and accepting sites like this.
Otherwise we can all just blame the economy and tubes.

I gave up after waiting over 1 minute for the page to finish loading.

ArtWilliams 2009-08-31 08:54 PM

My machine specs are modest (N330 dual core Atom 1.6 Mhz running 64 bit Ubuntu with 2 megs of RAM) and it brought my machine to a crawl.

JustRobert 2009-08-31 09:12 PM

I am glad I am not the only one with an issue trying to open it up.

Cleo 2009-08-31 09:21 PM

Even worse when I gave up and closed the page it caused my whole browser to hang for so long that I was getting ready to force quit it.

No problem opening or watching the embedded videos here. But this is the latest generation MacBook Pro so it should be able to handle anything I throw at it. Some surfers with slower/older machines may have trouble, but those with newer/faster ones may be your better target. You could always include a link to a version of the page with photos instead since that sponsor has plenty of those too.

I like the idea of that site/page, Walrus, and I think it'll hit some surfers just right.

dif0r 2009-09-01 08:12 AM

looks fine to me and needs around 3-4 sek. to open

Thanks for the comments. I also believe that to survive one of the things people are going to have to look at is building lists with a more "freeform" style.

I build a bunch of these style pages simple because they are very effective in combination with my blogs. Much more so than linking out to a gallery or a freesite.

It sounds like about half of you had problems loading which, obviously, I'm not.

It's something I'm going to have to look into.

JustRobert 2009-09-01 10:29 PM

Damn, I tried again and no. Locks up the browser before the page even loads. Then it shuts down all browser windows when trying to close the one.

I am sure I would accept it if I could see it, lol

walrus 2009-09-02 06:27 PM

I believe I've got the problem solved... if anyone who was having problems could give it another look I'd appreciate it.

Cleo 2009-09-02 06:32 PM

Much better, loaded much faster and didn't crash Safari.

JustRobert 2009-09-02 07:40 PM

I can see it and play them.
Damn, lots of videos on the page. Was not expecting that many.
You have a partner account with me so I would accept it.

ArtWilliams 2009-09-02 07:52 PM

Much better!
