Uploading to server

How do I take a prebuilt page or gallery and publish it to my site? I'm using Filezilla and can upload to my server, I just don't know where to upload all the files to!?! |huh

Your public_html directory is most likely your public root directory. So, if you upload test.html to your public_html directory, you will be able to access this page at http://yoursite.com/test.html

I hope this will get you started..
