Well..gotta go to Florida Thursday to help Mom
 

She fell a few weeks ago and broke her hip in 4 places..it's in a weird spot so the doc could not replace the hip so she has a plate in there holding everything together..
The rehab center is being told to release her this coming friday because Humana wont pay for more time..
So, I'm hopping a plane and will be with her for 10 days getting her comfy and stuff..We will have a therapist come daily cause she needs to get out of bed by herself and do other things by herself..
So here I sit looking on ebay for a CHEAP laptop just for email, site updates, and webcam..

I seem to remember that you are from central Florida, but then I often have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast, what part of the state are you going to?

Gonna be in west palm beach..
home of the red buttons century village hot rod crew..you know..tha place where they have custom made golf carts that look like fire engines..ughhh..
I sleep in her "Florida Room" (if she were in New York, would it be called a "New York Room"..??) which is right on the golf course..these 70 and 80 year old golf fanatics are out there at 7 am, drunk, joyriding in those golf carts smacking that dumb ball around..

Some tlc from her "baby" here will be just what she needs..
I'll have her up at 7 am..take a brisk walk around the bedroom with the walker, then into the shower..
breakfast at 8..therapist (the rapist..?)comes at 9:30..so there is more bdsm for her enjoyment..that will take a few hours..down for a nap then lunch time..wheelchair races to the pool at 1..watch the golf cart cuties do races up and down the parking lot for her enjoyment till 4 pm..back for the "early bird" dinner at 5..then bed time..then I get to play with porn (If I find a cheap laptop)..

As far as internet access goes maybe you should do what I'm planing on doing when my new laptop gets here next week, subscribe to T-mobile's hot spot service. Basically it gives you unlimited internet access at T-1 speeds at many coffee shops and bookstores for a monthly subscription fee. http://www.t-mobile.com/hotspot it sure beats the hell out of a dialup.

Good luck with your mom. :) Sounds like she is lucky to have a daughter like you to help her out. Sounds like she will be ok once she heals up.

That sounds like a super idea..gotta get the laptop first..
