Is there an easy way to check for duplicate content?
 

One of the common rules of submitting sites and galleries includes not submitting content already on the site.

The only way I can think of checking for this is to do a google search with "intitle" and "inurl" looking for anyone using the same sponsor as me. Then look at the galleries to see if they are using the same pics.

Is there a better way?

I wouldn't get that carried away with it. If you are really concerned, for the larger link lists, you may want to quickly surf the target category for something using the identical photos and/or movies. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste my time. Submissions are down so much this year, most link lists are (quietly) begging for anything to be submitted to them.

I'd have to agree with Useless on this one...Each free site is unique because of the ads we use, the text we choose and the way our galleries are laid out. I think you'll be fine even if you're using the same content because the presentation will always be different.

Sounds good to me. I just don't want to get off on the wrong foot too early.
