R.I.P Brittany Murphy

'In a tragic turn of events, Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32. The actress went into cardiac arrest early Sunday morning in LA, and, despite being rushed to hospital, she was dead on arrival.Murphy had her big film break at the age of 18 in Clueless'

I read that, only 32? They now say it looks like natural causes cardiac arrest. RIP

She's good in playing bohemian ditzy characters.

I had such a hard time believing it when I heard - she's just WAY too young to have passed away. Hadn't heard the "flu like symptoms" reports yet - wonder if it's an H1N1 thing. Celebs can ignore symptoms just like the rest of us. So sad to hear - 32 years old... damn...

My favorite movie was Uptown Girls with Dakota Fanning - not one of the top "critically acclaimed" type deals, but I think her personality just suited that character perfectly - she SHINED in it. I think that's how I'll always remember her.

London evening paper said cardiac arrest - but coroner investigating the possibility that it was caused by abuse of prescription drugs (apparently bad plastic surgery left her with an addiction to pain killers). But whatever the cause, 32 is still way too young to die.

I had my dvr grab a copy of "Don't Say a Word" from Cinemax a few months ago and have been putting off watching it. And now for some reason it feels kind of strange to know I recorded it while she was alive but will be watching it when she's not.
