Kmanrox, Moses, and Rehab Dollars RIPPED US OFF FOR $2400.
Hey guys. Our house caught on fire a few days before Christmas (news article). We were living in a hotel for almost a week while we scrambled to find a new home. During that time we were in contact with Moses and Kmanrox from Rehab Dollars about a series of missing payments. After a couple days of them giving us the runaround they stopped replying to us altogether. We just heard back from them three days ago. They gave us a number of bullshit excuses as to why they could not release the payments to us. They was saying that all the signups that we have ever sent them were all with female names and similar logins. That is not even possible considering that we have different traffic coming from different sources at different times to a single landing page that has links to a bunch of celebrity sites from a number of celebrity sponsors, and they ALL pay - except for Rehab Dollars.
We're not talking about just a couple bucks here either. We have earned $2400 worth of signups over the last month and a half with them and we have not seen a single penny from them. It's been a hard time for us lately, between our house burning down, having to live in a hotel, and having to deal with a shady sponsor that has just been stringing us along, milking us for signups, for a month and a half, with no intention of ever paying us - and all this going down over the holidays. After getting vague promises about us getting a payout from them and them saying that they just needed to talk with someone before they issued payment and that everything was probably not going to be a problem, all communication ceased. Then all of our ICQs and emails went unanswered. Just last night we gave an ultimatum to Kmanrox on ICQ. If we really were 'carding' wouldn't it make sense to use guys names and random logins? LOL This bullshit story of yours doesn't hold water, Kman. We would hope that KMan would be able to produce screenshots of his claims, but don't hold your breath. We're not going to see any screenshots, because he is full of shit. It's just a lame excuse to steal our money and you are not going to get away with it, we promise. http://uscitychat.com/images/payus.jpg |
Sorry about your house!
And sorry about them not paying you. I've had dealings with kman in the past long ago without issues. But I will not touch rehab dollars since you posted this. Thanks for the heads up!!!! |
That sucks all around. First you lose your house and then you get shafted for a sizable sum of money.
Thanks for the heads up, they are now on my 'do not use' list and I hope you get the house sorted out soon. |
Sorry to hear that and thanks for heads up. I was just looking for rehab dollars before I start to promote them for any feedback. I hope your house situation gets resolved very soon.

There's more to this than is being told here. It seems that there's some question about whether those signups are legit.
I have no idea at this point what the truth really is, but don't be too quick to judge based on just one side of the story. |

You'd be surprised what things people will do to get referral money not legitimately earned. Unless you can see the logins/ips/usernames/emails/patterns you don't know the other side of the story. And they are not going to reveal that. Makes it too easier for the next person to learn how to get around a system. |
Good point Toby, Kat. I did back this guy but I would like to hear off the sponsor to have their side of this to know if what has been said is the truth.

Yes there is much more to it than a simple not paying on joins... also from what I saw a 30% CB rate which seems to be the major red flag and the one main hold point.

I would like anyone reading this thread to ignore my first post. I have also taken the sponsor in question off my 'do not use' list |thumb |
Hmmm, I've been to the zoo now so I'm not too sure what is going on. Looking at the stats screen grab above sales look pretty good but yes there are 2 sides to the story. The other side is claiming carding (fake signups) though I never did see them prove it.
|
Given past history of the players on both sides of this disagreement I doubt I'll be doing any biz with either.
|
A lot of questions need to be answered from both sides.

almost 40% charge back's within 45 day's and a history of scamming is enough for me to not take anything that Turboface say seriously. The extreme spam fest involving their landing page domain is not helping either.....

He's catching hell over at the 'zoo'. He is unable to back up his accusations against me, that all the sales were with female names and similar logins. He will not be able to show any proof of that because it does not exist. Quote:

haha a forum that i didnt think to look for turboscammer to post on....
watch out for this guy.. he's carding and he'll be locked up soon.. submitting all known evidence to the authorities.... have a look on GFY and see how it all happened... he's gone from the industry even though he was 'gone' many times before for scamming.. do a GFY search to read all about his previous scams |huh RehabDollars will NOT PAY a single red cent to anyone who attempts to defraud us and our affiliates. this is how we manage to pay out so much like clockwork, every time. i can honestly say we havent caught 1 fraudster AFTER we paid them yet... although we catch and average of 1-2 new ones every single day. Back to the drawing board turboface. Come back with yet a new reincarnation of the 'ultimate scam' as you've done for many years.. |

The house fire thing is what really stuck with me. You wanted to create a sympathetic mood so that your fellow posters would think of anyone not paying you as callous and heartless. As much as being forced out of one's home during the holiday season sucks, it wasn't your house. You were a tenant. And, according to your wife, you lost some dirty laundry - nothing else. Don't get me wrong here -- I could not possibly care less. In fact, I'm thinking about picking up the ping pong paddle again. Kmanrox certainly isn't handling this situation professionally, but you, Turbo, are coming off as a complete fuckwad. I don't feel that Rehab has to prove fuck-all to the community. They should, though, restrain from attacking and insulting their accuser. That way, they maintain the high ground. The community will do all of the attacking and insulting for them. |

Agreed Ramster, if they had said simply turboface was a dickwad with too many chargebacks (which so far all the threads over there going back to 2004 verify), and they were closing his account fine
But to accuse of fraud is heavy stuff...where is the proof What I've learned from looking at all the bullshit over there about this 1. turbo is a dikhead 2. kman is a dickhead 3. with 1 dollar free trials (with 2 other prechecked free trials) converting within 24 hours for the first and 48 hrs for the second two to full charged memberships for a total cost of significantly over 100 bucks on the "$1 trial" within the first 48 hrs (not sure how easy it is to opt out before the full charges bill), I definately would not want to promote kmans program for along with being a mostly fake celebrity site the chargebacks and refunds would be massive 4. remembering why I hate the drama queens at GFY and never go there |

What the programer needs to say is whether it is higher the norm for that program. If it is, along with the supposed usernames issue... The way the programer is handling it, makes them not look good. But the programer may not want to reveal full what they have because it gives away their security and safe guards. You don't give that up. |
Both of these guys history speaks for itself.
|
The proof is there in the screenshot that was posted over at GFY. That is not a normal CB ratio at all. You can't survive with that. There are times when you'll spot a carder early, void the sale/s and ban the affiliate. And then there are times you'll pick it up later and some of those sales will turn into refunds as the void period expires. There are always things you'll pick up on, either right at the start, or later with more evidence.
Aside from all the board drama no program would allow that to continue. As I understand it RD wanted to hold onto payment until all sales went through a period to check for CB's. The affiliate didn't want to wait, hence the board drama. |
anyone with 2 cents worth of brain can put 2+2 together and figure out whats what and whos who...2009 hasn't been the hige rise of honesty in the adult industry
