Hi Cleo - Something Of Interest
 

I stumbled across a typewritten letter (yup, typewritten, from 1981) from Philip K. Dick, who wrote the short story that was adapted and made into the film BLADE RUNNER. Hard to read but really interesting.

OK, interesting although I'm kind of bewildered as to what this has to do with me.

It's been a long time since I've seen you around. How have you been? What are you up to these days?

I remember you being a huge Sci-Fi fan and loving Blade Runner, but it has been a long time. Interests fade :)

We're fine, thanks. Living about as far west as you can get in Canada without walking into the Pacific ocean. Actually, it's fracking boring here. And the people are weird. LOL

Still a huge scifi fan, just finished watching Caprica.

Blade Runner was/is a classic but with ground breaking movies like Avatar it's a bit dated although its influence is evident in much of present day scifi.

I tend to smile seeing the blade runner influences on the caprica cityscapes.
