How to activate my Webcam?
 

I just received a new Toshiba Sattelite laptop. Whenever I want to take a picture for msn or something, instead of my webcam showing whatever it needs to, it shows a picture of a sunset. The blue light at the top is on though beside the webcam. I went to Device Manager, but it said that the device works properly. what am I supposed to do to make it work? Any advice is helpful. Thank you :)

Are you sure is comes with a cam?

What model is it?

Does it have a camera button? I had to press mine to get it working.

The model number would help but try Alt F7 or go into your program listing and find the program for your cam, open that and it "should" activate the cam.

It suddenly occurred to me that the original post is from a bot though there is no sig as you might expect.

There is a sig holder on the post so that later on it can be replaced with a huge sig file.
