creating a successful link list
 

What are the most important factors in creating a successful link list?

I've come up w/ some stuff but I'd like to hear how important you believe each are and which are most important.

1. easy to navigate site
2. unique content (niche specific)
3. freshness (to get bookmarkers)
4. optimization for search engines
5. new daily site submissions (for link back reasons)
6. new daily site submissions (for recip. traffic)
7. recip trades w/ other link lists

As link list owners, do you depend on SE traffic more than anything else for your source of traffic? Or something else?

This is a very open question you ask. As for as I see it these are all important factors in the overall picture of creating a successful LL. So why not just do them all? Dont know what is the "Most important factors"! So Instead of trying to analyze and anser It I think I´ll go back and work on my new LinkList..... (Think that is the most important factor) |jackinthe

I'm just wondering if the majority of link lists depend on SE's for the majority of their traffic.

Most LL traffic is 1/3 trades and recpits , 1/3 se and 1/3 bookmarkers :) And one more thing u have to be allot cleaner than the older LL that means less adds since your looking for a good submitter base and trust from your bookmarkers :)

yep i agree with the rest linktrades and all, on this moment my linksite is more is the benefit of the webmasters who submit i dont have muc stuff on it from myself, just dont have the time, i dont mind, i buld up a nice pr and when time comes i get my share from that one
