Well it has finally stopped snowing but now its raining... making that snow real heavy.

Glad I still have my winter tires on my truck!

Just another manic start of the day. I imported a whole shit load of FLVs last night and this morning my server has run out of drive space.

Went to the doctors yesterday because my shoulder was hurting. He stuck a giant needle into it and injected something that felt like lava. It seems to have worked though as this morning I'm pain free.

Maybe I should just go back to bed...

Up early, even though the sun is out its still down around 40'. Getting as much done today as I can.

Ouch! Are you importing just the links to the FLVs and only hosting the (multiple) thumbnails for each video? If you're not hosting the FLVs then you may want to be sure you're not making too many thumbs for each video or that the quality setting is too high on the thumbs. For comparison I use 85 for quality and make 10 thumbs per video.

It's another beautiful day here today, and I plan to enjoy it by staying inside and working.

Chris is putting a much bigger drive in my server later today and in the meantime he was able to free up some drive space so my server is back humming along.

I've been importing FLVs from Pimproll and telling TubeX to convert them but now I'm thinking that I may need to only import them without converting them.

I'm guessing that if I only want to import them and let Pimproll host the movies then I just don't check Queue For Conversion.

I don't have my installation set up to allow submissions or to convert videos, so I don't even have Queue for Conversion as an option in my admin, but yes, that's what you don't want to check. Sorry I forgot to mention that before.

Just check "Queue for thumbnail generation" and let the sponsors host the videos.
I think that's the only way to make a 'legal' tube site even break even.

Wow, I just tried importing some FVLs and they are added almost instantly if I don't check queue video convert.

Happy hump day. Spent all of yesterday working my ass off on a new site. Didn't even make it to the regular build and submit stuff. Today going to get into a little of that before I get back to some new sites and working on templates.
