Is anyone still really blogging?
I don't mean building SE sites using blog scripts, I mean really blogging.
Its strange that something I enjoyed so intensely just a few years ago I simply can't find the time to do again. Or the burning desire it requires to do it well. So, if you've got some real blogs that really get updated, let me know. I"d like to see some people still doing it and see if I can get inspired to pick it up once again. |
some. It's not like it really produces sales to get excited about. but little does these days.

But if you were to build a network of 100 blogs they would make sales. I know this from someone else and I've built around 7-8 blogs lately and they are actually making money. My blogs are on auto from scripts but I do some real posts each week too. |
Yes actually I just wrote a post on it on my adult webmaster blog. Sales > $1k last month and I hope rising.
|
I write regularly in my Ms Naughty blog although not daily. And I tend to get a bit too political or atheist. But I can't not do it.
|
I have three blogs I still hand write posts regularly to, although not daily like I used to. MadHatter though updates all his daily, but he has feeds that he "rednecks" up so he is taking (mostly) my posts and making them funny. I also have some that are on auto that I don't do anything with.
http://www.3dfantasyporn.com/3d-porn-blog/ http://www.bestavspornsites.com/blog/ are both 100% hand written http://www.gotpornforwomen.com I also have a feed from grandma in there, but the rest is hand written. |
I still update a personally blog 3 or 4 times a month plus I have a handful of subdomain blogs that are RSS fed with the root domain one hand written each day starting off with a feed plus one that is totally updated by hand.
|
I have a new one here http://pornical.com/ that I start a couple weeks ago. We'll see how far it goes.
|
I have a hand written blog I use as my main Hub.
|
I make a blog post every day but those posts are more "galleries" then actual text-rich posts. I submit them to a TGP that accept single blog posts and brings a couple of thousands surfers a day. Most of them don't get past the single post page but I keep telling myself something good will come out of it eventually :)

(On one blog recently I lost two years of posts by foolishly upgrading to 2.9.2 without a database backup using wordpresses auto update tool - that sucked. My own stupid fault, I got used to upgrades going well, I should have known better.) Many started this year, and still in the stage where i am populating them with posts before trying harder to link them up and do the new blog thing which is subbing blogs to directories and lists. Anyway, I'm probably blogging all wrong then I guess, if you just started 7-8 splogs and are making money worth writing about. How did you link them up. Wheres your traffic from? Anyway, I've decided to do the thing of getting to about 50-100 over the next two years, because, well, traffic options are dying off left and right and what else is there. |
I have no intention of making money from my main blog. It's purpose is to serve as a genuinely useful resource for people - who will eventually link to it and allow me to shape traffic accordingly. The money invested is trivial compared to directing traffic and authority.

I've started on a whole new network of blogs. It's been slow getting out the gates as I've had a ton of other projects. That and getting a bunch of new software to manage a lot of aspects across the network. openx, link org, etc.
As of right now I really see this as the way forward. I should have been doing this a lot harder months ago. Only can move forward now though. Got a nice customizable wordpress template for making blog/tube sites as well. So I can use that to create tons of blog/tube network of sites as well. It's very slowly all coming together. Just having to maintain some other aspects that are currently bringing in a bulk of the online income. The transfer though of money made from one network that is dying is being picked up on some new networks I've been working on. That and I'm excited to see that most likely these new networks are showing real growth. The ideas are working so over the coming months it will be a battle to really grind and scale my ideas. |
I have a couple blogs that are not regularly updated, but are text rich and illustrated for each post with a "sexy" image that links to a gallery or gallery sets I make myself; so I get traffic from both search engine results and submitting.
Those who don't care to read can just jump straight to the gallery; those who find the gallery can click to the blog. I don't automate any of it, except sometimes to write a post or two ahead of time and schedule them. Sometimes it's better not to update daily - if you want to get decently indexed, eventual SE traffic; but you just don't get pinged as often... :D |
What's wrong in daily updation

Interesting responses.
I find I don't us WP as a blog platform much anymore but use it more as a simple CMS building more pages than posts. But, what I was really after was how many are building blogs that may or may not push porn but are mostly personal commentary, interesting shit you run across on the net, etc. A friend of mine refers to them as E/N blogs (everything and nothing). |
I (me and my secret partner) have a network of blogs, i make real posts everyday, no scripts. it makes sales, not a lot, but enough to make it worth it.
|
I have a real life blog. It sucks. I hardly ever write posts. It sucks. Yeah, it sucks. I have a couple of porn blogs that I hardly ever update too. It's a trend with me and blogging.

I do it a lot. I have several blogs but the main one is right here. http://zoezanecom.blogspot.com/
Mature MILF Zoe Zane I'm in the trenches writing a book. |
We have http://blog.scoreland.com which is hand written.
|
I'm blogging the old fassioned way, as for the folks here who have 100+ blogs with auto updaters does that really generate good traffic and sales?
I'm at http://www.cumherpussy.com http://www.cumherpussy.com/linkex and a paysite http://www.warmkiss.com/creampie.html |

I suggest building lots of blogs, and the ones Google likes you update more frequently. |
Quite true.
Quite true.
You can' t depend on your blog for survival. You have to do something more to support you financially. |
