Erotica/Story Freesites
 

Just trying to get a feeling for everyone's current vibe on erotica sites. My new blog will feature original content actually posted by the authors (including myself), and my tentative plan is to start building some freesites primarily to promote the main blog. My plan is more expansive than just eyeballs+advertising for the blog, but eyeballs are still eyeballs.

Back in the day there was never really a consensus on what made a good story site, so I figured I throw the idea out on the table and see what you guys think these days.

Index+main+storypage1+storypage2?

How much content do you like to see for an erotica freesite? Authors think in word count, LL owners don't.

Any other dos/don'ts you can think of?

Just as long as it has two full pages of story that isn't in huge type or the blog has a few months of posting I'm happy.

I also like the sites that have some small non clickable images mixed in with the text.

^^ I like the small images as well. Ads more value to the page.

I love the thought of gratuitous images, and I have some shots of an old friend that will be perfect.

You can submit the story sites to foxys links. I do story sites as well, so it's about the only category of mine that sends decent traffic.
