"Epic Cash" banned on PenisBot.com

Hello all!
New small rule:
Sites promoting "Epic Cash" sponsor will NOT be listed on PenisBot.com.

Also we terminated them on all our sites and services (freehostedgalleries.com , porninspector.com , master-x.com , etc.)

sickkittens 2004-03-14 07:21 PM

What was the reasoning behind this? Just curious.

caringneo 2004-03-15 07:57 AM

Hi Kit,
I am not using ********. But would like to know if there is something really wrong wih that sponsor. I have DD stopped listing flashcash because they use dialers for Australian surfers.

What happened in this case?

I'd bet it's that they do not allow webmasters from various countries to promote them. It happens a lot. If a webmaster is from Country A and that country is not allowed to join the program, they won't list the sites, ect.

kit 2004-03-15 10:26 AM

1) We had problems with getting payments from them. They owe me for Sep-Nov 2003 periods.
2) Our account was terminated without any notes and after talking by icq I found reason: "You're not profitable for us."

So, I think there is time to terminate them on all our resources too with the same reason.

plateman 2004-03-15 10:56 AM

thanks for the heads up kit will write them down to a list of "do not signup with sponsors"

Sponsors like that are idiots. You are not profitable for us? Fine, email me that you are cancelling my account and pay me what you owe me that I HONESTLY earned according to your terms!
:(

caringneo 2004-03-15 12:52 PM

|sad| If they feel that a site like penisbot is not profitable for them, I wonder what will they think of small webmasters. They didn't have my country in their approve list. So I haven't signed up for them. |rasta|

There was mentioned some stats for the last time:
27 signups / 23 cancells = 750$ losts for Epic Cash.
I don't know, how we can give 82% cancells rate from the clear links on PenisBot.com. We do not use even banners for Epic Cash promoting, only links like here:

http://www.penisbot.com/pay.html
+ their hosted sites links.

So, 82% cancells rate looks unbelivable. May be they can't offer something really good inside of members area?
But, I terminated them on our resources not for this. The reason is: I don't want to work with them due to their bad business style.

security_man 2004-03-15 02:56 PM

with the visa regs a lot of paypersignup sponsors are gonna be looking more and more closely at cancellation ratios now so everyone needs to keep an eye on this with any pps sponsors

it does sound odd that yours would be that high kit so i dont blame you a bit on that score. that alone is reason enough imho and add to that their not letting you know or even moving you to a revshare program is fuckin BULLshit, not to mention the fact that they owe you money.

thanks for the info on why this happend :)

MrMaryLou 2004-03-15 05:03 PM

Must be a case of nothing in the back end :(

flyeruk 2004-03-23 04:28 AM

I've just implemented the same rule on Clixxx4porn.

They did the same to me.

1. Cancelled my account without even bothering to tell me.
2. Still owe me money.

I was sending se/ppc/linklist traffic and when they did finally answer my emails, I was told I had a high chargeback ratio.

Took me a few days to remove their links, time that could have been better spent on worthwhile sponsors |angry|

That's fucked up - and assuming you are sending good qualified traffic - this has to be a product issue. And after reading Lisa's experience with them - I'm pulling their links from one of my sites today.

Cheers,

Paul.

edit for typo..

Woohoo |bananna|

What goes around, comes around...

kit 2004-03-23 10:33 AM

Wow, I think Epic Cash soon will be allowed on GFY board only ;-)

gecko 2004-03-23 09:09 PM

Damn man that sounds fucked up - sorry they did that to you kit. An 82% cancel rate seems very hard to believe. |sad|

I hate to say it but I have heard this happening ALOT with epic cash.

Opti 2004-03-24 08:29 AM

82% Cancellation rate from a $1 trial isn't that abnormal in my experience.... particularly for programs with lots of front-ends and just one mega member area for content.

But it's almost irrelevant for a PPS sponsor to hang the cancellation rate as an excuse on an affiliate imho... if they whip out a CC and join a trial, the rest is out of my hands from there.

The sponsor should also make income from cross-sells and exit traffic.. And ******** have those bastard floating email collection boxes on their sites that must also contribute to the bottom line.

I'm glad I read this thread. |greenguy|
