What is the average amount of content that affiliates want in order to promote a site? I am hearing that my new affiliate program is cool but I need a lot more content. someone even said they want 100-200 pictures and movies!!! I know I am green....but...that seems like a whole lot of free content. Then someone wrote and said they want galleries and galleries for tgps. We have done tgp galleries and quite frankly, we don't see them working very well.

Any suggestions on the content amount would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Linda...

As an example, Sexhit currently has more than 4000 free images for webmasters to use when promoting the sites, you will also need to add to it on a regular basis, the more often you add free content, the more often your webmasters can build sites from it, they won't use the same pics over and over ;)

Good luck...

4000 images? Gooood Grief! My site doesn't have that amount on the entire thing!!! I guess because the site consists of only me...and no one else...it might not be probable that I am going to offer thousands of free images. Maybe I wasn't cut out to be in the affiliate business and I need to rethink. geez....

You don't necessarily need that many pics, the key is to add to the content regularily - eventually it will grow ;)

Yeah just add a few sets a month and you will be fine.

200 pics is going to get old very quickly . . . and just because you don't know how to use TGP effectively does not mean your affiliates don't

Have you thought about buying some content to add to the site as an extra for your clients, it only has to be in the same style.

hi there

you should always listen to your affiliates, they're the ones sending you traffic, and the more content you can provide, the better, even because everybody's traffic is different, so a set working for some buddies could not sell the same way for others ;-)

have a nice day!

G'day Linda

IMO you'll need to offer updated content to webmasters but you have an ultra niche so you'll have to weigh up the free stuff vs "pay up you bastards" ratios for surfers looking for what you have GOT.

Maybe build a couple FHG and a couple FHS a week and/or offer the equivelant pics/movies as downloadable content for WM's

No need to sell the house to get a NEW kitchen |smooch|

Hope this makes sense |waves|

Hiya LindaMight!
Great points made on this thread right here. The thing you have to try and keep in mind is that your lucky to have people who want to promote your site for you, and that with just a couple of 'enthusiastic' affiliates your content can become over exposed in like a minute flat.
I would suggest that when thinking about the content you want to use for your affiliates, think about just quick basic (but good) shoots. 16 pics of you vacuuming the floor with 2 showing your chest and 1 or 2 showing 'the goods' downstairs would be a perfect affiliate shoot. Take you all of 10 minutes to shoot and probably less time to add to your webmaster area.
Just quick little things like that that will tease the credit card right out of the hands of the horny surfer looking for the big clit content you have.
Make a short video trailer (wmv format) that they can slap on the bottom of their gallery/free sites and maybe slap it on the tour. Just make sure that it is ALL TEASE.
Remember that you do not have to do full length videos, or full 200 pic shoots to provide content for your affiliates.

Little things mean a lot :)

Sex Hit is a bad example, as they have 4000 pics for the 50 sites they have to promote - LOL

Linda - I'd say start out with 100 or so & then add a new set or two of 20 pics each month.

I would be interested in finding similar content but I've never seen anything content like this before.
