Happy Hump Day!

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Have a good one.

Ramster 2010-08-11 09:06 AM

Good morning. Sitting ąt the hospital as my son get's some blood work after an ultra sound, yeah.

Hopefully at some point I get home and can work today

ArtWilliams 2010-08-11 09:28 AM

Hi everyone.

(Ramster, I hope he is okay.)

Except for having to drive a friend to the airport, my day is free and clear. Work as usual. Oh yeah, I woke up with an ear ache so allergy season is on full swing. Time for some Advil.

Have a great day!

Nymph 2010-08-11 09:56 AM

Good morning everyone!

I'm too tired to have anything today.

Have a good one!

Fonz 2010-08-11 10:04 AM

Good morning,

Just got back from buying a bag of food for my chickens, I guess that when you get older the smallest things excite you :)
Since I didn't get to do any adult webmastering yesterday i've got some catching up to do today.

Have a good one all!

RedCherry 2010-08-11 10:06 AM

Good Morning everyone!

Ramster, hope you son is ok.

Art, hope your ear feels better soon, I hate ear aches.

The cats are fed, plants watered in the garage, and coffee is brewing. I slept in until 6am, so I'm refreshed and ready for work. Have a good one all. |bananna|

Like Ramster's son I had blood taken this morning plus an EKG plus pissed in a cup plus had a lot of x-rays taken of my bad leg. On the plus side the doctor gave me my favorite happy pills for my leg pain.

But my new insurance sucks slimy green donkey balls. When I showed up at the doctors I first had to pay for co-pays that my insurance didn't cover from my last office visit and I'll probably get stuck with more from this visit.

I would move to Canadian just for their medical care if it wasn't so fucking cold.

Just a day of work planned with a short break to go pickup my no more pain happy pills.

Good Morning All :)

I hear you, I have no co-pay just a 5k deductible, like that ever gets used up. I'd move to Canada in a heartbeat, but Jim doesn't deal with cold, or cloudy weather very well, me I love it, more time with no allergies. One more year, and I turn 50 and can get hopefully a better plan through AARP.

I hit the big 50 a few years ago and the plans through AARP were no better, actually a little worse, than what I have now.

Like the US, the allergies depend on where you live. I have a couple of friends who lived in the Winnipeg, Manitoba (prairies) and never had allergies until they moved to Toronto, where I live. I suffer from March until May (spring flowers and trees) and August until the first frost (rag weed). I actually like winter now though because I am allergy free.

Good morning world |waves|

And not a bad afternoon so far either. Planning to work through most of the day while some Italian sauce slowly comes together in a pot on the stove. Some ground meats, egg and bread crumbs will go together for meatballs later in the afternoon. Then it's just pasta and a salad to do at the end. Ramones' Rockaway Beach providing musical encouragement. Not bad at all so far.

Remember - tonight and tomorrow night don't forget to stay up after midnight to catch the Perseid Meteor Showers.

:)

Perseids
Comet of Origin: 109P/Swift-Tuttle
Radiant: constellation Perseus
Peak Activity: Aug. 12-13, 2010
Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 50 meteors per hour
Time of Optimal Viewing: Crescent moon will set early in the evening
, allowing for dark skies all the way up until peak viewing just before dawn
Note: The Perseid meteor shower is one of the most consistent performers and considered by many as 2010's best shower. The meteors they produce are among the brightest of all meteor showers.

Yup due to pre existing conditions I have just 10k catastrophic insurance with a 10k annual threshhold
I basically pay everything up to 10k a year (which is ok with me as that is far less than a bad vegas trip ;) ), but anything over that is covered 100%

Mine is like that, except 5k. One nice thing though is they pay for a yearly mamo, female checkup, and blood tests, so at least that is free, well, free in the sense it doesn't cost me any more than the monthly fees.

Naked Tan Lines

It's really basic looking using a similar template from another one I have that seems to do OK.

Nice! I know I've done this too long when I can look at cropped pics and recognize the gals from my own tan line site, lol. I need to update mine, built it years ago.

I did get a giant calculator for having them give me an auto insurance quote. The quote was considerably higher than what I'm paying with Gieco BTW.

My mother use to get some kind of insurance through AARP that covered what medicare didn't cover. I think AARP benifits are more geared towards people in the retirement age group.

Although I have a few friends that has used the AARP program that helps people reentering the job market that are over 50.
