Good morning.

Up and working. Going to meet a friend for a couple of beers this afternoon before he heads to Scotland for 2 weeks.

Not much planned for today other than work.

Got some bad news at the doctors yesterday after getting an ultrasound. The femoral artery graft in my leg is totality blocked. At least I know now why it has been giving me so much pain when trying to use it. Next step is to see a vascular surgeon. Hopefully it can somehow be opened back up without going through major surgery again.

Plans for today include hoping it rains later so I can take a nap. Plus some work and a visit to OTB since it looks like MML wasn't in the wedding party that got fired on in Buffalo (hope it wasn't anyone you knew too).

It's from being shot back in 1998 so it isn't due to disease but is due to trauma.

I'm a bit annoyed at my doctor for not listening to me when I said I thought it was due to not getting good circulation in my leg and him insisting it was a sciatica nerve issue.

After almost two months of waiting for my sciatica nerve to heal I finally had him take some x-rays at which time he decided to have me have an ultrasound.

I think I may be his only gunshot patient though so I guess I can't be too hard on him.

I watched this video of what was done to my leg this morning. It really made me chase.

I think our new house is finally starting to come together now, still more unpacking, and arranging of things, but it's starting to look like a home and feel comfortable again.

I'm hoping to make it for OTB today, but I have to take the kids clothes shopping since school starts Monday.

Nothing special going on today. I just mowed the lawn and found a rare Wasp Spider in my green house. They're supposed to live only in the meditterenean area but are now moving up to the north, and that's where I live :)

Cleo that sucks, I hope they can fix it easely.

Good luck Cleo! I do know they fixed a similar problem on my ex-husband back in the late 70's and he is still going strong, so hopefully, yours goes well too.

Morning all (well still Morning here, lol). Been working on my latest AVS site. Changing out links to a sponsor that suddenly tanked. It is amazing, 10 minutes after I changed out links, I had a sale for the other sponsor.

I had been running about 1/700 two months ago, last month 1/1500, this month 1/4000 with targeted SE traffic. That is just sad, and not really sure what is going on. Oh well, try something else and move on.

Hi all been sick as hell since the begining of August just getting better last day i was ready to kill myself didnt think it would end, the worst flu or whatever it was i ever had it never let up i just stayed in agony 24/7 really started to fuck me up mentaly by the end was trying to pull my flesh off :( just wanted outof my body. I better not get to that existence again what a nightmare.

Now I dont even know where to begin on working on stuff hardly was online except for 1 or 2 mins to check email past few weeks.

Sorry I've been absent from the board for the last few days - between visiting BlueBrit, Emerald & Just Robert up in Canada & then having them down here for a couple days - PLUS working - my time has been eaten up. I've been online all day playing catch-up & I'm not even close to where I wanted to be when the day started :(
