Spot The Dying Programs
It seems that more and more affiliate programs are closing down. Leaving the poor affiliates unpaid.
Can anyone give tips on how to spot a dying program? It may be helpful for most - they/we can avoid that kind of program as early as possible. Thanks so much. Peace |
Member's area no longer being updated would be my first clue.

What Cleo said. Plus take into consideration if they have pre-checked cross sales, only offer PPS and the PPS is an unbelievable amount. None of these alone say they are in trouble but show they are extremely aggressive and likely not in the business for the long term.

Sponsors who won't give you a pass for their members areas. Those who are proud of what they give to members shouldn't have any reason to hide it from webmasters interested in promoting their paysites. So when a sponsor won't let you see what's inside, it waves a big red flag for me. Maybe not closing right away, but certainly not one I'd waste any time promoting.

Programs that had 50 reps at the shows and all over the boards. Now they have NO ONE.
They are riding it to the ground. WEG is a perfect example. |
Some cash programs put on their home page. "Payments Sent" along with a date.
If it's months behind that might might be a clue. |
raising the min payout, webmasters getting canned for bogus reasons
