Thinking of selling domains
 

Hypothetically speaking, IF I was contemplating shutting down my adult domains and quitting the biz, what is a good procedure for offering my domains for sale to other webmasters (rather than letting the mysterious entities who auto-grab expired domains get 'em)? Is there a good resource page for explaining this stuff? Thanks!

Aye, true enough, Cleo. Rats, sinking ships, etc. |flush| But I'd not be expecting to get much for 'em. It's just that letting them expire makes them probably even more expensive to anyone that might want 'em, and the money goes to some big corporate squatter like Network Solutions.

I would probaly pay the renewal fees so as to MAYBE do something with them, but that would be about it.

You could always throw them on the boards buy/sell sections as "make an offer" or a bin you would be happy with.

That or push them to someone who will give them a good home. I don't even bother trying to sell domains anymore, if it's valuable enough to be worth selling I keep it. If it isn't I give it to someone that wants it.

I agree. I now give them away to someone who wants it, as long as they pay renewal. I have also traded some domains. I have also just let a bunch of really good ones expire as I had them "for sale" and didnt get any offers, so just said fuck it.
I like your thinking. I also would rather give them to someone who could benefit from them then some fuckers we dont know.
