Work today and lunch with my brother-in-law. That's all I've got.

Good morning. A usual Wednesday for me.

Had to do a bunch of running yesterday. Work plan today!

ADT is coming by this morning to sell me a new alarm system. I have Brinks now which was bought by Broadview which has now been bought by ADT which should work out great for me since they are offering me all new equipment for free if I sign a new contract so I'm going with wireless monitoring so I can get rid of the phone line that my alarm now uses. Wow that was a long sentence!

Besides signing new alarm contracts just my usual day of work, gym, errands and whatever else comes my way.

Morning all.

Have my new hard drive and graphics card in my render machine, and installing Windows 7 64 bit in it. Glad I can work on this machine while it does that. Should be able to render again shortly. Since I only have a few programs on there (like poser) it is pretty easy to reinstall an operating system...not like the hell this one would be, lol.

Other than that, the usual work. Have a good one! |thumb

Time For Work...YeeHaa!

Both the houses on each side of me have been robbed a few times. With me luck they would rob me and steal me cats.

ADT just left. New system is being installed this week and is costing me $50 a month but I'll be able to get rid of the land line which is costing me $25 a month plus someone will no longer be able to cut the wires going into my house to kill the alarm system.

Besides a quick run to the drug store & the bank, I'll be here all day slaving away.

I'm slavin' away too.

So far, knock wood, the only thing that has happened around here is kids knocking over mail boxes. I'd have an alarm system too if we'd of had robberies around us.

The house on the west side of me is owned by snow birds that only come down for a few weeks at a time. A few years ago the police came to my door asking if I knew anything about the crack heads that broke into the house and had lived there for over a month stealing and selling everything in the house.

Summer before last the huge house on the east side of me that is owned by an elderly gay rich couple was broken into while they were at their summer home and thousands of dollars in antiques and art were stolen.

In both cases none of us had any idea that these house had been robbed since at the time they didn't have alarm systems. Now just about all the houses around here have alarm systems.

I live in an upscale neighborhood but this also means that my neighborhood is a prime target for burglaries.

It's also nice having the smoke and fire sensors that come with an alarm system.

Might be why nothing happens here I live in a neighborhood that is mostly manufactured homes...there is only one other stick built home on my block. My neighbor on one side is a single wide trailer, the other side vacant lot. Redneck doesn't begin to describe some of the yards around here that are full of old cars, trash, outdoor boxing rings, ect. Hell, our house when we bought it had a boat that was beached on the ground, piles of scrap material, and the back end of a pick-up that was turned into a trailer.

Well I'm humped today. Geez. Been slaving HARD today. My brain is just fried. One more insane day and then Friday will be more of the norm. I'm going to sleep in a little on Friday. That is until the new washer gets dropped off in the morning. Knowing the way things are going the delivery man will make my place the first stop. |loony|
