It warmed up a bit here but now it's raining. I remember when it was a warm beach paradise here in winter.

Still haven't made it back to the gym. I just hate venturing outside when it's cold and nasty unless I really need to. Guess it is a good thing that my office is just a short walk across our house.

Looks like today is going to be another not so thrilling day of working all day.

Still chilly down here, might climb to the low 60s later but we're getting 30 mph winds and radar shows rain on the way (pretty much all around us but not here yet). So another day of being productive at the keyboard since I'm not going out to play in the weather without someone calling for help.

Wow, yesterday was beyond imagination. Is there such a thing as a classy Hoarder? I mean, does one man really need 130 cars, 39 of which are 1931 cadillacs? Or so many statues, it is almost impossible to walk around the house without running into one? (Or tripping on something like I did, and face planted)

I'll get some pics and video up later, but the fun part was listening to my brother and his friend Dave play the two organs at the house. The rest was just too out of the realm of planet earth that I'm used to.

The really cool thing is one of my last memories before my Dad died was seeing the guy play the organ at a pizza parlor at the Fiesta Hotel, and him explaining it all to Jim. That is one of the two organs we saw played yesterday. Small world.

Had a crazy idea the other day, contacted a few people to get approval to use some of NASA's data and got emails back from two people that practically wrote the books on space travel and were involved in many aspects of the moon landings. I don't think either truly understood the idea, but, thought the idea sounded cool and I got their blessings to use the flight data. So, on top of everything else, I get to write some code.

Earlier today my two Bulgarian demolition buddies took me to a Turkish restaurant for lunch. They pushed me to try the soup because they thought it was awesome. Never trust a Bulgarian's taste of food. I almost had to puke but finished the entire dish anyway. This is what it looked like. Tomorrow I choose where we're having lunch :)

Just got an email from a third person, also similarly involved in almost every lunar mission saying:

argh.

Good afternoon.

Yesterday, (the first day of my diet) I went to bed hungry. This morning I was okay. I walked 2mi (3.3km) on the treadmill and now it is time for lunch (2 hard boiled eggs, 3 cups salad and 1 tablespoon (25ml) of salad dressing). Two pounds (1kg) down and another 34 (15kg) to go!

My internet was down this morning so I am way behind on a few things.
