Has anyone successfully signed up with Danger Dollars?

Looks like they require an email address on a site you own with an alexa rating of 150,000 or better.

Sure I have sites with that alexa rank or better, I just don't keep an email address on em. I prefer to use a separate webmaster email, so I don't 'qualify'. I just found this odd.

I signed up about 2 months tops and used my regular email. I did give a domain though I don't think it was that high.

I didn't have problems getting approved, but it was ages ago, shortly after the program launched. I did however have some issues getting my W-9 submitted to get paid, but eventually got that sorted.

didn't get approved

I got approved, but that was maybe a year ago. Just used my regular email address and that domain didn't meet their requirements. But I gave a paragraph or two introducing myself and telling them what I do. And I listed a couple of my sites so they could check me out.

I didn't know that Alexa rating was that important. Does anyone else do this?

I'm not aware of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure that there are a few. Alexa isn't all that relevant, and becomes even less relevant every day, but it's really just a means they're using for weeding out hobbyist webmasters and surfers.

I did last July. I have an e-mail address on a 150k Alexa site and one week later, my application was approved.

Hmm... thanks, I didn't know that. I shall have to contact him to re-review for an account at Suze one of these days.

I havent been paid in a while but I never submitted my w9.. Gotta get that done

RedCherry 2011-03-07 10:59 PM

I haven't been accepted, but I used an email that wasn't on a high ranking domain. My highest ranking domains I don't have email accounts set up for them. Oh well.
