If you are looking for a free script then I dont think you can go past Gossamer threads Links2...

Definitely check it out... and if you need a hand with installation and setting up templates... give us a yell... glad to help you out :)

There are plenty of mods around that are readily available that will help you to enhance it.

My link list is run with this script. You can check out the site in my sig. The only problem you might have is support. The guy who owns the script is a pain to get ahold of. I had a few bugs and it took awhile for him to get back to me. Other than that it is a killer script and the SQL version is easy to config the way you like. If you have any other questions shoot me an e-mail if you want.

I just wanted to thank Mr CGI Guy and encourage anyone else to consider his services. Moments after me posting the above last night, he contacted me; shortly after he'd installed both a mysql driven links list and mailing list. He did it without a hitch and, though I'd only met him, came across as a really nice, clever guy.

We all have our favorite lists (and installers -- one of my buddies in Australia works on most of my stuff), but this guy really impressed me - not easy - and deserves this thank you for a job well done.

Thanks again, dude, and I hope this encourages others to check out his stuff and consider using his (personally created) script in the future.

I'm in the process of writing one geared toward adult link lists as well. I am going to be putting it into beta on my site later this week and will probably be releasing it in approx. 2 weeks. It has some great features that I dont think any other scripts have (at least from what I have seen).

But will update you when its available, been working on it for about a month now just gotta throw it up for testing, and finish the release features :-)

I have to change scripts very soon as I've outgrown the one that I'm using.

AcidMaX we talked in Vegas and I'm very interested in seeing what yours will offer.

When I get mine up on my site Cleo I will let you take a peek and maybe we can arrange for you to beta the script and we can work on some of those more advanced features we talked about. We can talk when the script is up on the site and you take a look at it. I think you will like the features it has already and there are more I'm wanting to add after the basic script is released.

Yeah that is about 80% to where I actually want it. There are a few sites running the software already that seem to like it, I just wanted to revamp my link list script so it took top priority on getting it done. Unfortunately I work as a full time programmer for an adult company during the day and do this on the side right now so it gets done in my spare time at the moment.

Still in beta but This one is pretty damned cool. :)
