Need help tracking a site down
 

Does anyone know who owns this site

I was going through my traffic stats and I came accross some of these URLs

I dont know who these people are and why they are sending so much traffic. I have never linked them. Not that I am bitching about it, just a bit courious.

Those are hotlinking chat rooms.|sad|

You may find that they are hotlinking your pics and not even visiting your site.

Do you have .htaccess blocking remote linking of images?

I've went thru those sites and loooked at at least 2500 pics and none of that content I own... Don't understand how they're hot linking if the pics are not in any galleries of mine.

Do you have access to your server log files? If you do, get them in a browser or a text editor and do a search (Ctrl+F) for the string "fusker" and you will see exactly what they are connecting to.

Some boards/communities/chat boards have a very fast turnover of messages, so they may be buried deeper into the site.

You didn't say if you had .htaccess hotlink blocking working or not...

Yes I have access to my server logs.
I have .htaccess, not sure I have hotlinking blocked.

Yeah you need htaccess setup to prevent this.

Also about your sig, you are only allowed one 120x60 button and you have two. Please change your sig ASAP.

Even if you have htaccess set up to prtevent hotlinking of images, a lot of stats programs will still show them as "hits" to your site. That might be the case.

They encourage surfers to hotlink you, I had noticed gigs going to this site in my bandwidth logs, they recommend the surfer to "fusker" gallery pages, basiclally hotlinking your shit. If you are seeing your content it is the result of either you or an affiliate hot htaccessing theyre files. More then likely they are hotlinking someone who is using your galleries either iin theft or in revshare.
