It's the first decent weekend day to work outside so I may do some clean up. Time for leaf bags!

Have a great day! |thumb

Good afternoon,

Another warm day today. No offline work for me today due to the upcoming holiday. So I played some Need For Speed on the PS3 and already got to the point where I threw the controller away :)

Dinner at my mom's in an hour and after that maybe some beers with the buddies.

Have a good Good Friday all!

Good morning world |waves|

Just a work day here, pretty much like the rest of the week has been.

Two things made me laugh the last couple of days. One was the story of the kids who released three goats in the hallways of a high school in Montana. What I liked was that they painted numbers on them: 1, 2 and 4. Story says the school admins looked for goat #3 for a long, long time.

The other funny thing was 50 Unexplainable Black & White Photos

(that's the mobile version so you just get the pics without the page noise; to get the whole page snip the query string off the end of the url)

Enjoy your day!

:)

Have a good one ya'll!

Good day.

In computer hell here after having to reinstall the operating system on my main PC. That means I have no software anymore and ALL my bookmarks are gone and saved usernames and passwords. And no I didn't import them because I didn't do the install, I had someone do it since I don't have time not being home during the weeks now.

So now I get to spend the day reinstalling all the software I need to do my work. Yah

Sorry to hear that Ramster

Still amazed though that people are still not doing regular full external backups though...

GigglesWorld 2011-04-22 03:21 PM

Just doing some IM, as usual. Had some issues with my car, but got that all taken care of!

Cleo 2011-04-22 04:51 PM

Exhausted... Just spent 5 hours paddling my ass around Biscayne Bay in strong winds and rather rough water.

Had a great time though. Shot a bunch of pics and footage to play with at some point.

Going to go out for sushi and gelato after the both of us have recovered and then run some thrilling errands like buying a new electrical connector for the kayak trailer.

I have everything backed up, nothing has been lost (other than bookmarks). Everthing else is saved.

But I still have to go through the pain of reinstalling software such as CuteFTP, VideoWave, Roxio, Photoshop and so on.

Firefox has very slick SYNC feature, where you save all your bookmarks, passwords and more.
tools >> set up sync ...

MeatPounder 2011-04-22 07:09 PM

Ramster...I mean a FULL backup of the partitions..a full clone...Windows does not do that but just about every third party backup software can ...

You would not have to re-install anything, a full restore writes the disk exactly as it was at time of backup...software and al....a mirror image

Yeah Its Friday!
Finally I get a night all to myself... now, what to do with it??? UGH!
Have a good one!
