Can't believe that every news channel has nothing but the wedding on this morning. Can't even get traffic or weather updates, not that I drive to work.

Aliens could be invading the earth and the news would be only reporting this stupid wedding.

I guess now that we have world peace and no longer have any crime or natural disasters only important things like rich people getting married are news worthy.

Good morning. A big shout out to that special royal couple. You guys sure won the lottery of life. Whatzzzup!

Our elderly friend who is in the hospital is taking more of my time than expected. There is a daily trip to her apartment and then down town to give her the stuff she needs plus stay for a quick visit. I am happy to do it though as she doesn't have many people to help her. Things don't look great for her as she is suffering from vascular dementia and it will only get worse. A seniors home is in her future I suspect and she is only 69. It sucks to get old.

I still haven't got all my site sites moved over from my shared hosting to my server. Scripts that are supposed to automated the process are not working. Guess I will have to do it manually with an individual backup and restore.

Morning all. Apparently slept through the Royal Wedding, but since I don't have TV couldn't have watched it anyways although there are probably 100's of youtube vids aready on it. Just trying to wake up and get to work.

Our biggest international seller in years. TV coverage worldwide was about ten times what the entire population of Britain currently stands at, and London was full of tourists spending dollars and euros, helping to save our economy (which is currently shit, but not as shit as most of the rest of Europe).

Although I'm not personally all that interested in our royal family, our country could do with a wedding like this every couple of months or so.

Plus it made a good "test run" for dealing with the enormous influx of tourists London will get next year when we host the Olympics!

Yes, but it was a good day for releasing news that you wanted to sneak out (e.g. reduction in funding for the police force), with the press concentrating on the wedding, scant column space was left for anything else.
