Question to LL owner
 

Hi.
What size of pics are you prefer?
You want see your recip on index.html or main.html at the root directory with 5-8 other recips.But big Link Lists more than 9 and root directory is only 1.You don't like doorways.Should you give me advice that can i do with that?

I prefer the warning page. I basically hate seeing recips on the main page, save that page for ads.

Doorways are fine as long as there are other decent sized LL in addition to mine so that the page gets some traffic. Be creative in naming stuff, don't use numbers.

if using doorways that all link to the same 'main.html' i'd like to be on the main.html instead of one of the doorways :-)

Most of us have adopted the "500 on one side" rule for the pics - so by standard dimensions, 500x375 is the minimum size for pics.

As far as recips, I like the index page, but I don't hold it against you if you put me on the 2nd (main) page - my thinking has always been that as long as you don't bury my recip, I'm pretty happy :)

For the nenber of reciups, there is nothing set in stone, but try & make things look pleasing to the eye. Example - take 9 recips & put them in an equal 3x3 table.

I place recips on warning page. About 6-8 items. If you use more LL try to make doorways. Give names as follows - "abc", "def". Not using numbers in name, many owners dont like it.

I prefer my recip to be on the index/warning page, but if its on the main in a visible position thats ok too. Number of other recips... I like to with at leats 5 others.

doorways are fine... just no /index58.html crap :(
