Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Working on a few things, waiting for equipment to be delivered. It took almost 8 hours last night to evaluate a ton of software packages, to have to settle on the first one I had chosen which is the best of the lot - but still not optimal.

Another thrilling day of making the porn (actually just marketing it) planed for today.

Looks like one of our Nikon D70 cameras needs to go in for repairs today... again. Going to go over to Foxy's place and do a hard reset on it first but it sounds like the shutter locked up in the middle of a shoot last night. Luckily Foxy had a never used before D60 body to finish the shoot.

The new batteries for my UPS should arrive today. Last night I had to order a new battery pack for my Nikon D70 since one of my spare battery packs would no longer take a charge. Just two months ago I had to get a new battery for my Vette and now the battery pack for my 17" Mac is saying it needs to be replaced. Not a good year for batteries it seems.

Just another beautiful day in this working man's paradise. Lots to get done but I wake up early so that's no problem.

It probably doesn't apply to UPS systems, Nikon cameras, Corvettes or batteries you can't just swap yourself, but I've noticed this year that my bluetooth keyboard and mouse are both damn liars. I replace the batteries in those when they tell me the batteries are almost 100% depleted but now I keep the ones I remove on the shelf of a bookcase by my desk. Then I put old ones back in sometimes when the software alerts say it's time for a new battery. And I get a couple more weeks use out of those old batteries which the software had previously told me were no good now.

And I blame ...no surprise here... FACEBOOK.

If people from this board would stop using Facebook to post so many things and return to posting more on this board instead it would make a huge difference. Of course that's like saying "if there were no tube sites" so I don't really expect it to happen.

Went & saw the nose Dr today - nasal surgery for me |bananna| 2 acytally. 1st is one to correct some inflamed tubes (I forget the technical name) and the after that I'll have surge4ry to correct my deviated septum. yipee!

Not much happening here that's different from any other day except that the sun is shining and its warm out for once.

Morning. Just a little work today. Going to get a new wetsuit today at the rip curl shop. Stopped by there the other day and the actual shop is having a 30% sale on full suits. Going to get an e-bomb one. So excited. The suit I have is so gross and fucked that I've just stopped going out because I don't want to wear it.

Today is my dog's second birthday. Going to hook him up with a maybe a new chew toy or some other stuff from the pet store.
