Next Radio Show on 6/1/2011
 

Looking for topic suggestions and also looking for guests for next week's show.

If you would like to be a guest PM me or Skype me or just post in this thread.

Not necessarily for next week's show, but this is something I thought might be incorporated in future shows.

Show Topics:

"Top 10 Things a Link List Owner Should Be Doing in 2011"

"Top 10 Reasons Links List and Free Sites are Important Marketing Tools in 2011"

"Top 10 Mistakes Free Site Builders Make that Keep Them From Making Sales"

"Top 10 Mistakes Most First Time Traffic Buyers Make ... and How to Avoid Them!"

etc...

That format will draw listeners I think, and naming the chat logs and audio files with those names, and linking to them that way, will get some SE traffic to them.

Of course it can be "Top 5" or "Top 3" or whatever makes sense.

Guests:
• Link List owners as often as possible in order to stimulate the LL/Free Site biz.
• Free site builders, including those who'll talk about various "must haves" of submitting (things like having networks of hub pages for niche filtering of incoming LL traffic, other ways to use 'clean' versions of free sites, etc).
• Link List owners and some affiliate marketers who are either for or against buying traffic (and/or selling 'valuable' ad space on your sites).

Any or all shows could feature call-ins with people agreeing or disagreeing with what's being said. Of course then you might get a troll calling in just to make trouble now and then. (Yeah, audiences love that kind of thing too.)

I know you can't do that kind of show every week, but maybe one show a month using that approach would be good?

Okay, since you asked for suggestions for the "next" show...

"Top 10 Suggested Topics We'll Cover in Future Shows"

Could even be a recurring topic, announcing some show topics in advance every few months to build interest in upcoming shows. Number can be whatever makes sense.

Just lined up a guest for next Week's show.

It will be Kevin the owner of Medium Pimpin' who is also a master of blogging.

This will be good. I for one have taken a look at what he has done with blogging and really focused a lot of energy on emulating what he has done. It's no mystery that it's a lot of work. However, just my early results point to good things. :)

Maybe not this show but it would be nice if we could come up with a list of sponsors that only we recomend to eachother.

I can't believe I missed it. Actually I completely forgot it was last night. I think I need to set a reminder.

I listened to the audio file, and now I wish there was a damn audio search function in QuickTime of iTunes. I'm pretty sure I heard something but now I can't find it.

If anyone heard the show live or listens to the recording, do you recall Kevin saying something about their paysite program traffic coming 40% from Google and 40% their own traffic network (blogs, tgps, tubes)?

yea simon, i was there and he did mention that...but i'm pretty sure it wasn't jsut about his paysites only, but his full network of blogs and such too...alot about self trafficing in there for those who pay attention...

One more social networking site... I just signed up with Tumblr because of last night's show.

Maybe we need some kind of text alert system to remind people or something. I know I use to often miss OTB until I added a recurring iCal reminder.

I think this was when Cleo asked a question that was something about what part of his program traffic was affiliates versus their in-house traffic generation.

Later I think he said Bing was 5% of traffic too.

Yep,I just set an iCal reminder. I had a recurring one for OTB but eventually deleted all future events when it went off the air.
